I've seen this phenomanol in the workplace, and also on the road! It's quite a trip ( no pun intended!) It's like "get your shit together will ya?" and take care of stuff in a timely manner people!! It's a pet peeve of mine...

Once you say something, though, you can't take it back. It's there for eternity. That's important to remember I know that all too well, I threw something (verbally) in my sister's face a few years ago, and it really hurt her. I've only done that I think twice in my life. I tend to let things pile up and then errupt....like a volcano.
I'm sure your children will turn out just beautiful! You're a well-balanced person and they'll learn that from your examples.
