whoooaaa, I'm dang tooten glad i'z a northern gal! and those rules explain to me that my older sister musta been born down yonder....she shore is a southern bred gal..... Yikes! Those rules set women's rights and equality back 100 years!
Wooooooooohoooo! great post! you wrote it so I felt like I was there! and NOW I want candy! I'm still too warm, the fan here is off, and I loved this post! you'll get to the top fast with this kind of writing
Hilariously funny AND on target at the same time!! number 8 is truly important great post! funny while so true
I decided to heat up some coffee in the carffe rather than in a cup in the microwave, went to the basement to start a load of clothes and heard my son screaming at me to get up stairs and put out the fire. The whole thing caught fire and the plastic on the carffee was melting, so I tore off my sweatshirt ( brand new of course) and used that to smother the flames. Now I try to not leave the stove, if I have to leave, I turn it off!</f
I'm just tired of these jumper wearing "businessmen" who give false ideas to people who might be starting out in business that it is like running a spastic group. These aren't false ideas, they're the cornerstone of any decent business. If you're "tired of these jumper wearing businessmen" then ta
Well thanks for stepping on it to give me a few words of wisdom , man that's not a job I truly want! I'd rather be a friend to converse with and share our insights! The problem with the group being harsh with her is that she/he will see it as their fault!
! thank you for the fine Sunday morning giggle!!
wow InBloom, it does get old after awhile, trying to mediate such stuff! In reality, you probably can't change the negative person, they have to do that themselves...and this person won't change until she/he sees "how they are" in life! Sounds like this person has blinders on! If I had blinders on I'd WANT to be told! your hints apparently haven't helped, soooo, this person just isn't ready. And the group, well
and I second Sally's good wishes for you regarding sleep! Isn't it odd how in our sleep we have feet that turn to clay? how we can't run away no matter how hard we try? I had nightmares last night tooo, about monsters ( ghosts and ghouls!) and woke up about 45 minutes ago really agitated! Let's pray we both get some solid sleep tonight!
In a heartbeat.
My best friend is my son, of 29 years. You've described perfectly in your blog how our relationship is. I can count on him when there's nothing else or no one else. Nuf said! he's a good kid!
really great ideas that can be applied to one's personal life too!
sorry MM for being late getting here, if my liver wasn't full of sarcoid, I'd gladly give you half of it! wish I could make ya better sir.
very interesting, I especially loved the first paragraph!
I think you'll like this, from my book it says about dreaming of fish: fish have commonly been used to symbolize divinity, and often stand for the spiritaul abundance that feds all men and women. In dreams they can also represent insights into the unconscious. Fish caught in a net and brought to the surface represent the emergence of these insights into the full light of consciousness.
Wow, that's the most moving and full of love post I've ever read anywhere! what a wonderful father! about your dream, if you wish, I can look in a book I have about dreams? animals, numbers, colors, are all part of our dreams. Even if we dream in black and white. Sometimes a "thing" will stand for something else in real life. , one night I went to bed hungry an
Your description of the full rich day left me wishing I'd been there to soak up the church services! I can only try to imagine how melodic Italian sounds, and have always wanted to try a gelato! Here's wishing you many more full rich days!
Those very words you feel are trite, are what gave me comfort when dad died. People coming over and just hugging me, words or not, helped. Your idea for a "semi-finished scrapbook" is excellent. A dear friend of mine died in a horrific car accident in Oct. of 2002 and her brother had a memorial service and people that had photos of her contributed pix to make a wall-length collage. If you find you can't say those words, just a comforting hug says
If I could do one thing for someone, it'd be you and I'd get a bed for you. I was "bedless" a year and half ago, I tried different organizations to no avail. One number I was given I called not knowing who they were. Turned out it was the head guy for organizing relief for disasters in our area. He contacted a church and they bought a bed for me. Is this a possibility for you? First call for help numbers can usually get you to a group, church, or
If I could change just one thing about myself, the wise thing would be to wish for a very healthy self, however I'd wish to be 18 again!
, ROFL , kicking my heels too! good one! hope you're feeling better
Well what goes around comes around and I believe some good karma will come your way Mason, and soon. I hope this dude gets a real bad case of the guilties, so bad he can't sleep! like for a week! have a good night Mason
whoa! you're a generous guy this is true, I just hope you got an angel alongside ya guy! I'd imagine there's all kinds of hardluck stories out there that people use to get money. His whole story sounds really suspicious, be careful man
I just turned 59 this month and let me tell you was I saying something?? Oh I still like "My Little Margie" My idea of getting out means going out to get my medicine and some groceries My idea of a hot date is plugging in my electric blanket I can't remember my phone number, user password at most sites, username at most sites, and what I started to blog about 5 minutes ago!
