In SkinStudio, Explorer tree, on left, Controls-Menus-Pull Down Item, then on right, text colors. Will set color for all skinned menus text. The top two items of favorites are controled by explorer tree Miscellaneous-Colors, then on right, Menus- Text-Menu, this also set color for any unskinned menus.

If it is not working at all Blue Screen Of Death when start computer it is system BIOS. If you have tried other versions from Stardock and none work you will have to live with Windows Boot Screen.
I like my 3.2 GHz Intel 640 downstairs much better speed-wise, but then, I try to keep it clean by not customizing it From Stardock; Windows XP includes a basic visual style engi
Not sure if can be done, cursorsxp use .png images, to do what inverted does is like a color picker, would need scripting like for DX. If could be done someone would have to hack windows inverted to see how it works. It would be nice to see for CursorXP but could be too much work for anyone to take on.
On yrag's link, third from botttom ActiveSheild, click, fourth on next page gives info to do scan from dos, safe mode command prompt for XP, may be a virus causing problem.
Follow up, progress bar errors, wrong bit depth makes a mess of colors, wrong size, used one 133x38, looks silly, but bootskin apllies. Screen image errors, wrong bit depth, wrong size, it does not show in list when open Bootskin. If it is not in list due to image or .ini problems it can't be applied. BSOD is due to BIOS conflict. Now would say 1000 out of 1000 times will be BIOS.
If you're using different skins then the skin that is giving you the BSOD blues has poor quality control Meowy, if there is an error in bootskin.ini it will not show up in list when open Bootskin, a progress bar using colors different from screen image causes bad color when applied. I just removed progr

If you have inverted theme selected in mouse properties, check disable all and apply on CursorXP config will use inverted theme, when want to use a cursorXP set uncheck disable all and you are back to cursorXP.
No problem, looks good.
With the NHL lockout now being the longest work stoppage in Pro Sports, is anyone watching or taking any real interest in the WHC. I am a hockey fan and someone who is proud to support his country in international sporting event, but I have not watched more than 5 mins. total of the WHC.
Interesting thread, not sure what it has to do with OS Customization, but it was a good read.
Open IconPackager, click view, select Package Builder. Double click icons you want to change, browse to BeOS icons select icon you want. When have all as you want save, you will now have IconPackager set. I have 2.95a(b).022, this is the new beta, not sure if package build was part of 2.5.
Not everyone has a fast machine Anyone with a slow machine most likely will not be running XP, so the XP stuff will not be skinned. I have a slower machine for using XP, 2.4 gig celeron, 512 ram @ 266 ( 333 but runs at 266 with celeron ), most skins I have I change most things to stretched, no s
If it is a .scr and your OS is Windows XP, move the .scr to Windows\SYSTEM32. Not sure but I think if pre XP, would move .scr to Windows.
Stardock Central 2.07.333, build 86, just spent 10 min. testing works fine here.

As werewolf said they should not effect internet, unload DX and WB then go on internet. If ok load one of apps try internet again, then unload and try other, could maybe be a corrupt download and install of DX or WB. If is problem with one uninstall redownload reinstall. Update, I should have read whole post, if still have problem after uninstall, so no DX or WB on your system, how could they be cause of problem.
According to Bootskin web site is for Win 2000 and Win XP.
No problem
In Stardock Central, click tools, register products, copy and paste serial number from email, click update then click Object Desktop on left side menu, all components when selected should show install on right. Must download and install Stardock Central first ( just incase you have not yet ). Object Desktop is downloaded thru Stardock Central.

I don't see any new stats Go to one of your skins in gallery , click on download count. Update. Was just checking when at your home page click on download count for any skin popup with download count will show new stat.
If this only happens with skin you are creating, and if is first time use SkinStudio to make skin maybe something in SkinStudio is corrupt. Try uninstall reinstall. Other than logoff and shutdown images there are no settings so would not be anything set wrong.
For menus and menu/toolbars I change font to Tahoma as soon as download a skin I like enough to keep. But as long as not too funky I will stay with font type of skin for Titlebar and Taskbar. Setting font override would change all to Tahoma and if skin is using a heavier font would have to use SkinStudio to edit font sizes. I spent at least 1/2 hour editing any new skin, having to add fonts for classic widgets until issue is corrected is no big
