Had IE6 open to do some things it is needed for, when done logged in to WC. When in forums, open thread I had already opened, page loads then goes to part of thread I was at last visit. IE6 seems to be treating this as another page, when click back arrow goes back to top of page, instead of last page, have to click a second time to go back to forums page. Opened FF no problems with it.
I have SKS free 4.5.0 build 1025 when try to import msstyle in SKS get, Access violation at address 00000000. Read of address 00000000, error click ok or close box nothing happens. If I open msstyle folder and double click edit with SKS get same error, when click ok on box imports with no problems. I do not know why but maybe someone knows what this error is.
If your OS is Windows XP SP2 some files are downloading as .zip for some people, if you still have the zip change, .zip to .wmz then double click.
If you have SP2, it is downloading files as a zip for some people, rename .zip to .bootskin then double click, should then self install to bootskin.
If the skin is a msstyle port, open in SKS, explorer tree click XP Shell, Shellstyle ( unofficial ), right click on Shellstyle XP Low Level definition, click remove section, save then reapply skin, will have left panel.
kona0197 is correct IE is faster, the Trojan Horse Norton is having hard time with is probably causing poor performance in IE, as you are getting many pop-ups it is taking control. It is important to find a way to get it out of your computer. Try to delete, no need to quarantine just get rid of it.

open logonstudio, select logon, click edit,on tree menu, panels select dividers, select center picture, click button, on box that opens uncheck use picture, click ok ,then save

explorer tree XP shell- shellstyle (unsupported), remove embedded strings and Shellstyle XP low level definition, embedded strings removed returns font too default, Shellstyle removed will allow panel background color changes. Some msstyle ports will not have task panel until Shellstyle XP is removed, as far as I know does not effect anything else as SkinStudio shows them as unsupported, red x on folder. I remove these from any WB that
For Windows XP put in C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper.
A guy I work with paid 1700 for a new computer and is using for antivirus a burnt copy of Norton 2003. Keep telling him that atleast 2 years behind on viruses, but he does not seem to think it is much of a problem.
For Windows XP save wallpapers in windows\web\wallpaper, just the images no folders. They will always be in Display Properties. I know web sounds weird but this is where Microsoft puts wallpapers.
XP Home SP2, 1280 X 720, looks fine in IE6 and Firefox.
Yes that is convenient, but it is also happening on posts I go to for the first time.
When some articles and forums finish loading does not stay at top of page, jumps down halfway, bottom. Is not all but when happens on page with a lot of replys takes a lot of scrolling to get back to top to see what forum is about.
Playing with this some more, cut and pasted url from suite .ini got correct download so is not a problem with url. Was able to download WB and IP this way. Tried to apply same suite with theme manager does not download anything.
I just downloaded a suite that worked, it was 3.4 meg so included all skins used. It saved suite in theme manager but also saved WB in WB folder and IP in IP folder. A 3.4 meg download is now 6.8 meg on hd. Since it is linked to store files can theme manager just not use that link to apply needed WB etc from their own folders instead of saving the same files as a .suite file. As I said above I have 1.13 gig skins etc saved. Around 60 WB, 6
I had just download theme manager just before seeing this post. I have been playing with it for a few hours. Seems most suites contain url links for skins used. When apply shows it is downloading but is not. I made a suite by search WC to have url info in theme. As soon as save try to apply, nothing. It is suppose to download files needed? Downloaded a 5 meg suite 4 of 6 parts in it, when apply WB and Icon not downloaded therefore not
For IE6 use the one added by SP2, it is simple but functional. Also like that it blocks ActiveX downloads until you click allow, very good for sites that don't let you know you have to download their ActiveX.
You have 10 of 18 newest, but since all 10 come up with same error, CurXPUtil.exe, when try to load they are not much good for me. I just reinstalled CursorXP, so do not think it is a problem on my end. Tried 10 other cursors all downloaded and installed fine.
Work days, which are Mon.- Thurs. for me, 10-12 cups of coffee per day. Weekends 6-8 cups of coffee, 4-6 cups of tea per day.
