More expansions would be great! I can't wait for 1.7. When TA comes out, it's "Katy bar the door"!
SSG Geezer
I guess he just wanted to see if you were an officer. Then you would have gotten a ticket.
A two digit midget? I am now a no digit midget!
And even so, our murder rate was about one fourth of the Old Soviet Unions. And they had complete gun control. Remember the lesson from here In Texas: An Armed society is a polite society.
Which VA hospital are you at now Dev? I may see ya there.
I don't think you can overclock those Core2 Duos on air with the standard heatsink. Unless you are going to spend the extra cash for one of the aftermarket versions, stick with stock speeds or go for a 5400+ AMD X2. (or faster) Then save the money from not having to buy a larger heatsink, and upgrade your video card. O/Cing the FSB will also increase heat and power consumption, but the case you are looking at should have few problems moving the
About time! I Think NOFX's song Dinosaurs Will Die was about them.
They Live rocked Dave! Armageddon was probably the worst movie I have ever sat through. Or was it that Batman movie with Uma, Arnie and Alicia? The one where the Batsuit had nipples. That was three hours out of my life I'll never get back. My kids loved the Mission to mars flick. Note: they were young, so they can't be held responsible.
I didn't realize that Adrian was a Wolfhound. I have seen a number of different stories on there many (Too many) deployments.
As a young man, I would have been willing to pay $5.00 for a ride in that Goat. We used to have a place at Camp Lejeune called "Swoop circle" where you could find someone on pass or leave heading your way to help share driving and gas costs. Never saw anyone working it like your pal though.
Whoo hoo! It's "The Rest of the story" The Military is even more down on Comshaw (trading) now then they were then. And the Commander of every unit needs to learn that the Supply SGT is someone you both need on your side, and must never completely trust. Saw one Captain stay in Korea almost a month past his rotation date due to about $100K of goodies that weren't accounted for during that lovely change of command inventory. The troo
Ah, the "Old Army". When no Soldier ever wanted the 1SG to even know his name. Officers stayed in their lane and SGTs and SSGs ran the Army. Time to go. 27 days.
Well Paul Harvey; What's "The Rest of the Story"? We had a few guys like that, and it was cleanser and wire brushes.
Sorry to hear that Ock, since I have been in the same boat it just made the decision to retire that much easier. Next time though! 29 days!
Sorry Col, your understanding of FISA is sadly lacking. Perhaps if you were "in the know" as to what the FISA courts have allowed or disallowed you might not be screaming. The only folks who actually know are the members of the court, and the petitioners in each case. And there are very good reasons why you have no need to know. (Even if you had the clearance level)
I understand the views of vegetarians, whether they eat eggs or not. Most vegans act like complete knuckleheads pushing their views. WHen I ate strictly vegetarian, I actually gained weight. That could be an indicator that we ate too much cheese, or that the wife was a mighty fine cook. The lovely goat we barbecued Saturday was killed and cleaned by my Cabrito Chef with assistance from me. Did it disturb me when we were skinning it out? Nop
I was quite impressed with how she tied the many various sub-plots together. I thought that the only downside was that it was a bit frenetic in the first half of the book. But my rating is close to yours. 4.5 stars.
You seem a bit dismayed at this Dave, why? It sounds like a good alternative. If they remove your fillings first, no mercury in the dust, and voila, flower food.
In the case of Mr. Penn, it is probably that he is wealthy enough, and has enough of his money overseas that he doesn't worry if taxes triple.
she gets the hell out. A hopeful finish. Very good stuff.
As I sit here in a Cabrito and Dos X induced haze, I must say I agree with you Serenity. If God didn't want us to eat animals, why did he make them out of meat?
This story reminds me of the old joke: How do you knock out a Marine? A: Tape some sandpaper to a wall and tell him to "hit the beach!"
If you don't like rats in your bed, you should love snakes! Especially the live kind. At Camp Lejeune, it was common practice to find a copperhead or eastern diamondback in the fighting positions in the training areas. (Lets just say you looked before you leapt.) Jake the snake just wants a little respect Daddy.
For some reason this story seems familiar. could it have made the rounds through other channels? Still pretty funny stuff Daddy. (And I wasn't offended. )
Sounds like the 70's! And it is funny to imagine the lol frothing as she crept away.
