Mignuna, It's 9:34 here....Oh my god......I must have gone back in time again!! 'Gotta go and ...put the shard of broken plateware under the lounge chair......the knife under the washing machine.......the trip wire at the back door...... . .the assasins here at nine forty three................ . .. .... ...'

Phoenixboi, WHat a cop out is all I can say! HE should have joined the Greens and stood up for what he believed in... it just stinks of opportunism to me. Perhaps he's just being smart about it and putting himself in a position , he would not reach from the Greens, take his ideals and beliefs with him and make a difference from a higher vantage point. Get his foot in the door, infiltrate enemy ranks, undermine their policy and

JillUser, Great post and I agree wholeheartedly. Life can take us on a rollor coaster ride and our choices can dictate the dips and the peaks and I always hold in mind when at the deepest depths of crisis that this moment will not last and there is more in life ...more to love...question ...and wonder at....other moments in time when I am content and happy.... and to hold on tight and use my experiences to guide me through my journey.

Draginol, Yep I've done the 'If I could go back in time scenario.....' which pretty well became an impossibility when I met my partner and we had our son....... you just can't risk it can you....? And it's admirable that the one thing you would do is change it so someone elses life would be happier..... that is very selfless of you, Draginol.

Very interesting...I do agree to an extent....but without dreamers where would the world be...for the dreamers are needed to point in directions we may never had turned our heads to had they not. We need both dreamer and doer...they go hand in hand. But I asolutely understood and appreciated your article and that particular circumstance regarding dreamers and doers is perhaps an unfortunate one but there are others.....Martin Luther King said.

I think that it is admirable of you, Gideon, to turn word into action and to point others in the right direction as sometimes we can spend so much time, effort, heart and soul talking about what needs to be done but never taking the next step of action. If we are ever going to change our lives it is now and the only thing in our way.... is us. I commend you, Gideon, for taking that next step....

The military really needs to stop using rose colured glasses for recruiting. They need to stop the lies and for once be honest while they toy with human lives. Why can't they not treat us with respect honesty and say.. 'If you join you may die" "It's not a summer camp...we do make it hard....we will ride you til you break and cry under the weight of our mighty thumbs!" "You may have to shoot another human being, are you prepared to

Your Welcome.......and don't worry, sometimes its good to have a little cry.....I'm sure at some point your husband can be persuaded to get maybe one little pet of some description.... I took your advice and had a read of one of your husbands blogs and it was worth the look.... you both have such big hearts and right now I feel so uplifted by life as I have read your words.... Your article was so insightful and oh so touching on the welfare mum

President Bush scares the hell out of me and the thought that he may be re elected is one of the most terrifying signs for the future. The Alternative may not be your perfect choice, but really, is the prospect of walking into the future with Bush such a positive idea...look at what he has done so far....do you want it to continue?

Texas Wahine, I am crying right now......so moved by your story of Licorice.....I have two dogs...Umbre and Yogi...mother and son respectively....and they're like my two hairy four legged kids. My other half doesn't really want them around and if I said so he would take them away in a blink of an eye....but I love them...my son loves them....we are the ones who have a strong relationship with them while my partner is working......so they are part o

Muggaz, The whole Human races priorities need to be set straight. The world needs to realise that status means nothing - we all bleed the same colour. Desire and Greed are the problems - as you know, these are human characteristics that will not be easily removed, so the task is too monumental to document here - and even so, it's just my opinion, and I am no one like everyone else... Well....yet again you say it so well, Muggaz

Draginol, I understand where your coming from....and my partner has that going on everyday at work at present.....you could call these people 'energy vampires'....'life leeches'....or simply 'bull headed, abnoxious people who don't have the decency to respect others feelings and use a little tact in their demands'.........a little tact goes a long way when dealing with people. Frustrating isn't it!!

I have had the good fortune of finding people visiting the same time......though I always seem to be a couple of sentences behind as when using Messenger. I don't mind if I don't actually catch people in real time.......because when I log in it gives me time to go down the lists and have a real read of everyone's sites and I know eventually the words will be read and questions will be answered.......whether it's 4am or 4pm here or over there. Yet again our government takes us in a backward direction. We are just making ourselves a bigger target by having these missiles and to spend $450 million dollars on yet more weapons is obscene and is not the direction we should be heading in. I mean....we get more weapons and it starts a domino affect...we get more so they get more....so we had better get some more and they get more .....and so on....in the meantime....healthcare.....education and all

Amitty, If you really like this person then relax .....................................take in a deep breath...................let it our slowly...............be his friend.....let go of your need to have him as a partner and enjoy his company as a person....We often can be absorbed by our emotions and feel the need to be absolute with another and when this is an impossibility we give up all together or dwell on it forever while life passes us by.

Anne Alogy, Thats a long list there....but it could go on forever...hey! An athletic contest of any kind played just for the sheer joy of playing... I would like to see that too.....but I think BlueDev was right in saying... Go to the local soccer/football field/basketball court. Watch the kids play. Play with them. We could learn a lot from them.

I don't hold too much value for money...as long as I have a roof over my families head, decent food in the fridge and pantry, decent clothing for the whole family and ....well there are a few other things but these are what I count as the essential. But my partner on the other hand is very materialistic he wants all the latest gadgets....best clothes....shoes.
