As long as a couple dozen people select the article or read it from the home page of my blog, I'm happy. The biggest thing for me is that people see it and read it. Having comments on an article is merely icing on the cake.

Thanks to the wonders of tape delay, I just watched the 4x200 free relay for the first time. All I have to say is wow, what a race! It was only one tenth of a second or so that separated us and the Aussies. Congrats to the Aussies on a great race. Right now it shows the US ahead in overall medal count and tied with ozzie and japan for second in terms of Gold. I'm kind of worried about the States this year. With all the drug scandals and a craptacular basketball team, I think we are starting to lose some edge but it's still very early and athletics haven't even started. And one of my biggest pet peeves is people who use medals per capita. I think its just silly. Just win the stinkin medals!<
