Oh, and please note that the Shog man also did get his fair share of hate threads. I think theer even was a "I hate Shoggot" webring. Or maybe not... The point is the more visible you are, the more people love you but the more more people hate you also.

Well, in all honesty, I do believe there was indeed a Shoggot cult as well. Not that he wasn't a remarkable person not that he didn't deserve his fanclub... I'm just saying that site gods aren't anything new.
All your skinbase are belong to us...
I salute you Larry! One of the most sensible posts I've read in a long time! Peace, my friend!
I believe in man kind. Underline the word "kind". I do believe Brad is a terrific guy, I also believe loc is also a very nice person. Heck, even I am a nice guy. I don't believe anybody is evil. Oh some people are sick and need some intensive psychiatric help, but in their heart, nobody is a bad person. Those who believe in good and evil maybe watch TV a little too much.
I think more stuff that does not require any shipping should be sold. I'll definetly buy the skins browser when it comes out.
Have you tried directly contacting the author of the theme in question? He may be able to make one real quick, if asked for it. Never hurts to give it a shot.
Hum... No I got no mustache. OK, now I feel like I have to be honest here. Everything on my computer is NOT 100% legal. As a matter of fact, I have never bought anything from Microsoft. I bought pretty much everything else, but call me an idiot, but I refuse to put more money in the pocket of the richest man in the World, period. I don't go to warez sites, I just get my boss to buy a copy for work,
Tandis, I'm sorry, but that wasn't funny, and I don't know what your point was anyway...
More specific please? Skins usually work for all resolutions. Unless you're talking about themes, such as for Desktop X, Litestep or NextStart. Or unless you're talking about a wallpaper? Now which is it? It helps to be specific when asking to assistance...
Yeah, well the Amendment are only valid in the US of A. Freedom is interpreted somewhat differently from one country to the other. In Canada, it's very vague, and that's why the judges in Supreme Court have a pretty safe job. Part I of our Constitution Act, commonly refered to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Liberties start like this: Rights and freedoms in Canada 1. The Ca
Seriously, ManIndo, just tell which type of skins you are trying to install and we'll be glad to try to give you some help. Is it a Windowblinds kin, a DesktopX skin, a Winamp skin, a IconPackager skin, a NextStart skin, etc.
After checking the site up more attentively, TGTSoft seem to have 2 products, Styles XP and Style Builder. The first will probably be the software needed to apply the themes made with the Builder. My guess is that they will probably have their own format and that you will need to purchase Styles XP in order to apply the skins. So, it looks to me like it's only going to be an alternative to Windowblinds. We'll just have to wait to see if it'll be better or not.
Well, I'm not going to discuss why it was deleted, that is pretty clear, but let's talk about that product vs WB right here in the message board then. I think personnaly it will depend on how the themes are distributed. Once a theme is created with the product, then what? You keep it for yourself? Or you distribute it? What format are the themes going to be? Will it require a third party software to apply them to XP? Or will the theme builder generate some sort of EXE that will install the
Do you have the name of the print and the original artist?
Why, yes, you do! The Windowblinds skins are skins for Windowblinds. Close WIndowblinds and you close te skins too.
I must say I'm kinda gowing to like the file manager in XP, with the options in the left pane...
That's much clearer... No, seriously, what are cbuttons?
Not only is it possible, cn4941, but it's exactly what will happen. Litestep will not replace the file manager. If you want to repace the windows explorer file manager, you will need to install a third program separatly, such as Powderdesk. Info: http://www.ontrack.com/powerdesk/ Download: http://www.ontrack.com/freesoftware/ Note that while Powerdesk is free, Powerdesk Pro is $20.
I believe what was once called Active Desktop is now the normal Windows XP desktop. If there is a way to disable it, I don't know what it is...
Bear in mind that Objectbar is still in early beta. Nevertheless I'm sure the Objectbar team will appreciate your feedback. You post it at the Objectbar newsgroup: news://news.stardock.com/stardock.od.windows.objectbar
Good luck. Making nice icons is very time consuming. I doubt anybody would do it for free. And your program isn't even freeware. A friendly advice: if you want nice looking icons, I'd suggest you invest a little bit. It will be worth it in the end.
A week from now... Hum... Gonna have to remember what is not covered by UIS1+. OK, I'll do it. Where do I sign? hehehe!
OK, I just found its website. It is a PC game and it looks like the kind I like to. Could sure be fun to make a skin on its theme. Question is, what's the deadline?
