Oh, you're probably talking about Bob. You have to know that Microsoft Bob was an experimental OS by Microsoft a few years ago, but it ended being a huge fiasco. Nobody wanted it. Anyway, there was a Desktop X that was done mimicking Microsoft Bob, and it seems more people downloaded the Desktop X version than the original. You can see it there: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=3

Well, the last time I tried it, it was very buggy, but that was a while back, it proabably went a long way since; but it's still just a beta. Install it, what have you got to lose but a few hours? If you like it, keep it, if not, uninstall it. Not too complicated.
In the meantime, is there ANY documentations available? I mean, where did Alex read about how to implement the new features, through private emails with you. Come on, Stardock, if you want people to skin for WB3, give us some meat! I tried to looked at Alex's skins... I'm lost. There is a .XP file that seems to be like a second configuration file, like a companion for the .UIS file... But what the
And besides, I really like Windows Explorer under XP. It does everything I'd want it to do.. ok, maybe ONE thing I wish it could do: double pane. But I just open two Explorers, so it's no huge loss really.
I used Powerdesk for a while, but found it too slow to open up (between 5 to 10 seconds). Sorry Jafo.
But I'll give you that the built-in FTP client sucks. I use a program called Internet Neighbourhood to integrate FTP into the shell.
I'm using XP and: Does Exploder come with a buildin mp3 player??? Yes. Does Exploder come with a buildin ftp-program??? Yes. Can Exploder unpack most compressed files??? Zip files Can Exploder compress ANY files??? (.Zip/.RAR/etc.. etc...) No, just zip files, but since I'm not into warez, zip is all I come across. In Exploder, can you browse/add files/delete files/vi
Of course not. This is not about you, Alexandrie. It's about people being hypnotized by the two magic letters. I... must... download...
Right now, the top 10: - XP Jeans - XP Jeans - Blue (a WinXP skin) - Adrenaline_blue - Beige (a WinXP skin) - WinXP Jeans - LunaXP eXPerienced - XP Set - v3 - WindowsXP full-pac - XP Nature So, in the top 10, 9 are XP related. *sigh*
Guys, don't go overboard; you don't have to make it look good to be featured in the top 10. As long as it has the two magic letters in the name.
Man, that's a toughie... I can't restrict it to one... Lets think. What program do I use the most, that I use both at work and at home? Well, I guess I have to say Internet Explorer... Or does that count?
As berzerka said there are already quite a few XP-lookalike DX themes. If you want even more realist you're gonna have to get Windows XP itself.
Well, I agree that it is strange that the same skin is there twice. Since this is a relational databse, it seems to me it would be easy to link the asme skin to two categories. The way this is done seems very strange... Not a complaint... just trying like adni above, to try to improve the system.
Are you talking about a Beatnik clock?
Well, actually, it's really just a machine.
The version I have has been working. What do you mean exactly? The 32 bits transparent icons look weird in IP itself but when applied, the icons look great on your system. IconPacks are just icons with an ini file, so there is no problem. I actually made an XP only Icon Packager set just to have fun making XP icons and cursors and it's really quite cool.

I ususually just use the radio tuner right in WMP.
Oh yes, I say female, ost definatly. I hae spotted a few posts from feline where she seemed to have slipped and inadvertently exposed her gender through sentences such as "feline says that she likes chocolate". Unless her spelling is bad to the point of confusing her pronouns ("she" and "he")... Of course, I could be wrong, but I put my bet on female. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sm
Lowen, I know it's how it works there, but I was suggesting to place one here, if it's not too demanding on the server, because I know we have bandwidth and server issues at times.
Cool, what about IconPackager with XP icons (with transparency/shadows...) in them. Could they be placed in there too?
Too funny! I just looked at the 1996 Object Desktop webpage, for OS/2... with screenshots and everything. And man, the conmputer on the screenshot has only 7 Megs left on drive C and 19 on drive D. http://web.archive.org/web/19970220104553/www.stardock.com/od2.gif
Cool, I just check it out. And WB3 is even listed before Office XP and Visio 2002, both Microsoft products. Awsome. Congratulations Stardock, I'm happy for you guys. Out of curiosity, how many trial version of WB is being downloaded today, compared to a normal day?
Hey, I have huge chunks missing. I'm pretty sure I typed it... Let me repost that last one: Ha, look at that. I've had that thing on my start menu for weeks but never even bothered to check out what it was about... I was just going to ask "What's the Windows Catalog?" when I decided to check if I had it too... low and behold, as if it couldn't stand out any more, right on top of the programs menu. <br
