really nice site, though I have to agree with sput , the left buttons really would look spiffy with depth or animation. you are gonna put a link to wc there right? do you plan to fill any of the right or left space with something?.. I guess it would look really busy with too much, but it's kind of looking lost at the moment. will return often, as it's a nice site with interesting content. Thanks for the l

I was paraphrasing what was said to ME. not how I felt about the number of skins that have been ported by one person. I understand it gets frustrating sometimes to see alot of ports showing up, but like I said it's not like he's been porting for a year now still doing the same thing over and over. it's less than four months since he started posting these things. I was hoping maybe he'd reallize that quality is always more important than quantity in the future, but I don't fault him for what

On rating screenshots, Honestly I don't think it's a matter of wanting a "high" rating, as wanting the shot to be visible to others. Anything below a 6 is not visible to those who aren't subscribers. But honestly I think the thread here on the message board (March Screenshots sticky thread) is a much better way of showing off your ability to match skins into a theme, and probably gets viewed by a much larger audience. on porting other's work, A very wise admin here once told me

rocky Nimda , yes I'm sure it was a particular service. I think the ones who were charging per emailfee, were mom and pop isps.I was in Ct at the time and there were very few isps available then.also, when mom and dad moveddown here, the internet providors they had charged a lump sum fee for email per month. if you went over what they assigned for email service you had to pay per email overage charge. the company I refer to down here(delaware) is no longer in business.

wasn't there a time in internet history when people did have to pay a per email fee? I seem to recall that, and also recall that companies that advertized they would not charge for email seperately ended up getting everyone's business. I suppose if it did come to pay per email, people could boycott email all together and find another way to send mail.I'm sure there's another way,..other than pay per snail mail. just a matter of someone figuring it out.no?

updated, improved, expanded and evolved. when I signed on three years ago, OD included component manager, control center, windowblinds, iconpackager, desktopx and object bar. nothing else. now, I have 17 different programs available to me, and updated regularly with new things added each time, not just bugfixes. all for LESS than I paid for my original subscription. I'd say that is worth the continued subscription price any day of the week.

wasn't trying to hide anything... and usually have no problem coming right out and saying exactly how I feel. Was merely responding to a snide comment which made little sense. Saw the ridiculous side of said comment and left it up to the reader to make his/her own opinion of my post. seems it's ok for a few, to hurl insults at people as long as those few make it look like they are being maligned,or in the case of a very few, go out of their way to be sarcastic and outrageous al
