Sir Bichur, there were none of your usual disclaimers in that question. Does that question have a hidden meaning? That is a possibility tho.

Avedesk is perfect for icons used on the desktop. It won't change icons in the Start Menu or on a Dock, just the desk. You can change size, color, rotate them, add text and folder info, plus it also supports SysStats and I-Tunes and is an all around great program. I'd really suggest checking it out. http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/showthread.php?t=23384

Tweety78, the links pictoratus provided tell you most if not all of how to do what you want. But you do have to edit the uifile and the ini files and you can't edit with Logon Studio. I generally edit the files and then use Logon Studio to apply them to see what it looks like, and then edit and check it again. I've had many times that the Logon came up with no userpane or shutdown, just the wallpaper, and have had many hard shutdowns during the learnin

Yeah, it happens every once in a while to me too, and I kept having to redo it all. I saw a thread here a while back to at least make it less painful. Make a copy of Rightclick.ini and desktopbar.obbar. I make a copy in the right click folder and keep a copy in the Stardock folder. Then if you lose the config, just replace those 2 files with your backups. That will usually work, but the reason I keep more than one backup is sometimes there is still a p

Well OzGirl, at least I'm not the only one to see it. They do treat people with disrespect and talk down to them. Just read carefully this and the Iceberg thread and see how they totally ignore a point and turn it into a pity party for them and all they do. That is my point in this whole thing...When a comment or opinion that they don't like is made, they ignore the facts or the comment and turn the thread around to make the person a whiner and a "Trol

Jafo,I have the original email I sent, I have the email I sent to Fuzzy, I have a copy of the email sent to Stardock last nite. Maybe it's the first you saw of it, but Fuzzy and others work there too and can remove it. His lovely "Brief glimpse into the life of a moderator" post was a joke. This "Troll" isn't buying it. Put a sock in it? I can't reply to the bull that you're putting out there? Put a sock in yours..what an egocentric attitude. Your post

Only this morning a rip of some artwork from DA was spotted by someone and promptly removed by an admin The thing you left out of this is that it was a Bootskin, it was posted on Sunday, during your hard toiling on tearing apart each and every one in your two hours leading up to lunch, There was no pe

If you're talking about the logons with the center "Splash" that also has the "ShutDown" button in the middle, Logon Studio has never supported that. They have to be created and edited through the uifile and the .ini file. You are correct, Sir Bichur

You are the one that started all of this garbage and made me actually take a look at what's behind your well scripted words and "old buddy Jafo" personna. You just did it again, totally trashing my comments....which are ALL VALID,and calling names again. That's all you have...there are no excuses for the way you and some of your fellow admin treat the people here.Just make my "Opinions" out to be some kind of attack and trash me. My point is made. You

This one small issue aside, the large picture is that admin, trying to hold things together, downplays the problems either by disappearing from the forums when the issues get too specific, like all of the extensive problems people had with the new builds of various programs, or they answer by downplaying the problems and making some pretty damn condescending comments to people. It's what they have to do to keep their jobs. But feel sorry for them....he

There it is...I knew that was coming. Maybe there's too much traffic because everybody is trying over and over to get a page to load. Slogging through isn't going to get you a whole lot of new subscribers either. And excuses just go so far.

And how come everybody else's site's don't have nearly the problems? Are we going to hear the "Massive amount of traffic" stuff again I suppose? I think you need to decide whether this should be a (WC/OD) subscriber-driven site or a promotional site for Stardock. The hybrid you have now doesn't seem to be working. </TR

First off Hus, why would I care one bit what Microsoft is doing with Longhorn? It will be what it will be and we will all use it and the majority of the people will bitch and moan and still use it. So why give it a second thought until it's out? As far as this issue here, the title of the thread just screams at you. But there are no specifics AT ALL so far, so what's the point of it unless they can give at least SOME information? That's all I'm tr
