I think the first thing that needs to be done is to moderate the current library to the new standard. There are in my opinion, which is pretty worthless , many, many, skins that would not come close to making it "in" today. What I see causing more discontent than anything is not letting in a good wall when there are poor examples still in the library. That will hurt feelings. Give the membe

WOM - you make this board interesting!
There should be some defaults already in your Color folder. Do any match your monitor?
Have you tried: Display Properties Settings Advanced Color Mangement Add Then setting a profile. It really helped out with my monitor.
Faster..... hell this site is on steroids! I don't recall it ever being this fast, ever. Good work guys, and thanks.
or the 9.5! But I would have to say I really like your two OS walls, they are more my style than plastic stuff with XP on them. Minimalism rules! Just take it for what it is worth, it doen't appear that is he is trying to be mean or evil, just giving his opinion. And you know what opinions are like...
Active Desktop is kinda hidden on XP and can be a real pain if you have it on. Open display properties: Desktop Tab Customize Desktop button Web Tab uncheck anything in the box OK / Apply your way out
try turning off WebBlinds, see if that works.
you can't http a news link...
It looks as if downloads are down as a whole from a few months back. I wonder if that download cap has kicked in....
But then again he only mentioned Uploads and Updates...
I don't think you will be able to download anything today.
I'll second that Tarkus! Some threads need to be hidden...
Huh? I think that you will need to ask that question a little more clearly. And turn the caps lock off...
Alex, are you sure they are working correctly. Envelopes that should be open are now showing as closed. If you click on it and come back it stays open but another one that should be open is closed.... I know this won't seem to make any sense unless you notice it yourself!
It is a very cool piece of artwork, and I can't say I remember seeing anything like it. However I would probably never use it as wallpaper. While the lighting effect is nicely done it would probably give me a headache looking at it all day. I can say though it does seem to be of higher quality construction than a lot of stuff in the library. But most of the poorer qaulity stuff looks as if it was made to be wallpaper, which is probably why it made it in. Keep hitting the moderators with
I would think somewhere between "The Minority Report" and "Star Trek". Could be fun
What's wrong with right where you are: http://www.visitdetroit.com/meetingplanners/convention/cobo.asp I could drive to Detroit! But I think it would be more worthwhile to crash something like Gnomedex, I'm sure Chris would love to have us. Iowa is out of the way but at least there would be a lot to do over the weekend.
Good Luck Karl. I hope everything works out for the best. You will be missed.
We don't "do" serials here, very bad manners.... I would suggest that you not ask again on this site. XP works pretty good for me on games. I had problems with older games, but all the newer ones work fine. One that really upsets me by not wanting to work right is Max Payne...
Here is an example: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?searchtext=capsula&sort=updatedate&order=Descending&library=1
Joe, you are supposed to be studying... now get back to it! OK since you are determined. If you made a WB skin for example and posted it here. I might make some changes to it that I think would look better or perform better. I would send you an email, as it was your work to beign with, asking for permission to post it here at WC. You could either grant or deny permission for me to post the "port".
Upgrade to XP.... Sorry had to say that! 98SE only has a static image for a boot screen. There is no way I know of to reproduce the two boot screens and welcome screen XP uses on a 98SE machine.
Ahh Boza, once you open Pandorra's box; what comes out can not necessarily be controlled! Look how a bored evening so long ago turned into a message board marathon!
Joe - I thought you were supposed to be studying...
