At this point i let the ticket close even though it still chuggs when closing iTunes rather than get stuck in an endless loop of run this report, uninstall everything and reinstall again, etc. Worked perfectly fine with every version of iTunes including the present one on Windows 7, 8 and 8.1. Now all of a sudden iTunes is a "resource hog" despite much bigger hogs such as full on games and a pile of web browsers dont affect anything. Something changed with Win 10. MAYBE its an ofd video drive

At this point I don't think there will be any immediate solution. Support mentioned they believe iTunes to be a resource hog. I'm sure its bloated as hell, but on a system running a GTX 980, 16GB of RAM and a 3770K where slow downs and hangs did not happen on Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 when using iTunes I dont think my system hardware is the issue. Clearly something changed under the hood with Windows 10 and Objectdock in addition to Deskscapes for some is showing some side effects. Whether

Update: Got a reply from support with a suggestion to purge ObjectDock from my system and reinstall with a new copy downloaded from the site. That build is actually 2.20.0.862 which is newer than the installer I was using but there is no changelog and the only outward change is a new style for the activation screen. While the slowdowns have lessened, it does occur when closing programs launched from the dock. The most noticable is closing iTunes: Captured directly from my desktop: <a

Yeah, ran a few reports and scans as directed by SD support. They all seemingly came up negative for any obvious issues and I am still waiting on a reply from my lastest update. I did note that while have I only use the basic zoomer, no running program indicators or icons of running tasks and apps, the slow down seems to occur when I close a program that was opened via the dock. Hopefully that helps them narrow down the cause and issue a workaround or a patch to fix what is clearly

Did a clean install of Windows 10 today. Upon installing Object Desktop Manager I see that Deskscapes 8 is greyed out as a "Not Compatible" program. Can/should this be overridden or is there an update in the works to fix/verify compatibility. Pretty much this program and Object Dock are the only software I use these days. I'd hope they keep getting support.

Running a relatively clean install of Windows 10 Pro x64 and ever since I upgraded I've notice that OD seems to have periods of non-responsiveness that I've not seen in past versions of Windows. It is set to zoom on hover and stay on the desktop until i hold my cursor to the top edge. There are times where it doesn't pop up to the foreground and zoom and i cant click anything. when i try to appy a new bootskin, i get a message telling me an error has occured. no further details shown though. im on vista ultimate 64 bit, uac shut off, logged into admin account. i will also add that i have an issue getting aero midnight to show up, ive applied the theme abd have the wall, gadgets and icons applied but the sjin will not and doesn't show up in the list of skins either

Was the latest update the only one that enabled x64 support? If not, wouldnt it be possible to roll back to the last working OD+ beta? Just wonderin and hopin you get it fixed soon. It was the only "app docklet" im running. I removed it and i have crashed in weeks. The min i put it back it starts crashing. Im running OD Plus on Vista x64. It was workin fine for a LONG time, then it suddenly started. I formatted a few times and it still happens. It might be something introduced by a windows update, but i don't think ill b able to track it down if thats the case.

I know I'm not complaining, i was just wonderin if anyone managed ta force it ta work. Im removing it right now because the Evaluation Copy watermark wont go the hell away after my attempts at the hacks ppl are postin that supposedly removes it. Any optimizations are hardly noticeable, however my loadup and shutdown times are drastically reduced.
