Seems they went and changed somethin that causes LogonStudio Vista to crash when it loads. Ive tried reinstalling but thats not it. Anyone have any temporary workaround suggestion. ps.- i dont count "uninstalling SP1" or "uninstalling Vista" a valid suggestion :P
*bump* At the very least im looking for a ObjectDock dev acknowledge that they have read this and might consider looking into it.
Hide taskbar malfunctions on dual monitor setups in Vista. OD is not the only app too, hide taskbar also does not work in ObjectBar. What happens is, when ever a window is opened, clicked on, minimized or ANYTHING, the taskbar comes back but as if it was set to autohide. When i move my cursor up to the screenende i pops out, but missing the start orb. Clicking on an empty area in the taskbar makes it dissapear again. But this is NOT a fix by any means as as soon as i click anything on a window i
The history link doesnt list it yet. Can anyone say what this update just did?

an update: i rebooted with no BSOD. It would seem the culprit was having the beta already installed and overwriting it. I would advise ppl to remove the beta a do a clean install.
@Duff: If the titlebar height is any higher than 23 on a theme in x64 it will distort tray icons. Only way to change it is to load up SKS and change the titlebar height for the BMP top frame to 23. where in sks can i do this, its driving me nuts so i decided to do it. but i cant find the spot where to do it.

@Duff: If the titlebar height is any higher than 23 on a theme in x64 it will distort tray icons. Only way to change it is to load up SKS and change the titlebar height for the BMP top frame to 23. thanks for the info, but this is happening with windowblinds stock skins. its up to them to fix it, not me. i shouldnt hafta personally tinker with thier skins in skinstudio. and i hardly believe this is a 64 bit issue
not sure if this was mention yet, or possibly already fixed. But i have a bug involving the tray icons. This is regardless of the skin applied. When a skin is applied they get sized up slightly and become very distorted. I accidentally discovered that the way this is fixed is by going to advanced user settings and enabling Use Aero window frames but keep the rest of the skin. This made the icons go back to their normal size. Below is a pic of what i mean. <img src="http://img77.imagesha
With dualscreen enabled, the windows taskbar becomes unhidden when events such as a popup bubble on the tray occur. Clicking the taskbar then clicking the desktop remedy it but its pretty annoying just to have it happen at all. Just an fyi and hope to see this fixed in an upcoming release.
HAHHAHA YES!!!!! I went to the homepage for this codec package LINK and got the main devs email address. He told me to download both x64 and x32 packages and BEHOLD they play!!!!! Thanks to AVMAN for ur help, never would have found the codec packs w/o ya. And to everyone else who offered their advice, thanks for taking the time to lend a hand.
DuffMastaJ WWW Codecs link Hi thanks for the reply, im using 64 bit vista ultimate. I went and found and installed the vista codec package, but this alone seems to not allow avi playback in media center. are there other tools i must use to do this? can you give me or direct me to a tutorial
I have many vids that are in AVI format, BUT WINDOWS MEDIA CENTER CANT PLAY THEM. I CANNOT find ANY reliable software that can convert AVI to WMV so that i can play them. Ive tried everything i can get my hands on including dirty hacks to try n get AVI's to play in Media Center. Does ANYONE know the name of a GOOD program that can do the conversion with minimal hassle??? Preferably one that you have used first had? HELP ME PLEASE!!!!
go to C:\program files\stardock\object dock ( or C:\program files (x86)\stardock\object dock if u have vsita x64) inside u will see a file called default.png. Open this with an editor like photoshop or anything that can edit a png file. Simply use an eeraser to erase the image, thensave the blank png. Now when u create a new systats docklet u get nothing. That should work great as a quick fix.
For some reason, anything but WMV vid based walls will not play. So far all i can use are wmv and the Globe wall, but stuff like Plasma gives a black screen with large square spots running like static all over the background. I have tried a reinstall of windows and i cant seem to figure it out. Im usin cat 7.8 drivers for ati x1900XTX, i ahve not yet tried a driver rollback yet, but i dont think this would fix it. any sugestions?

Hi DuffMasta, thanks for the report. It seems the x64 dll issue was due to missing runtimes; if a user didn't already have the latest C++ runtime it would not load correctly. Fixed up. Flyout images, there was some new optimizations done to improve speed... hoping the update 1.09g that we just updated helps. If that doesn't work I might have to attack the problem more directly. I heard of one person having a problem with flyouts appearing
need to inform of a bug on 64 bit vista. Upon install and subsequent reinstalls, OD when loaded says "ObjectDock x64: DLL/Hook Failed To Load. (DLL Load Failed) Please reinstall and reboot". The start menu and try function fine, and OD doesnt crash or act weird. I just get this error everytime i run it. also: flyout images are gone following the 1st use of a flyout. meaning i click it and see all my shortcuts, then i click it again and a bunch are missing. guy wth happened here
I was thinkin, the fly out menu could use a little bit of an update. In its present form it doesnt seem to handle high amounts of icons very well. Plus, I'd really like to see more options in terms of the stye in which it flys out. Instead of an half circle perhaps in can shoot a line up, go up n out like a rainbow, display a grid of icons, or some other things(mebe try ta emulate OSX Panther a lil without full on rippin em off). Even at least be able to adjust how far away from the dock d
since it is now summer 2007, perhaps time for a progress update to the 'ol list here?
