You don't need to finish with alot of money. The higher score comes from having a higher average weekly income. Time is really not that important either unless your already in the 10 year area. On a huge abundant (that is what I play as well) with tight settings there should be 150-200 planets available. 1 farm on sub class 15 and 2 farms on greater than class 15. Easy on the industry and research builds. Save most room for econ. Tweak your research to get economics and morale. <br/

Boom. That will be the last time I play as the Drengian. Foolish Drath built all there atk ships on cargo hulls. No match for my doom rays. The bugs were a bit wiser, but not by much. I love it when all of the AI use the same weapon. Make building ships lots easier. First game with no minors either. Need to make sure they are still enabled I guess.

By the time I got around to the high cost NLC last game I was at the end of the tech tree and already replacing the IM/DS to stock markets instead of upgrading to NLC. As it is now the NLC is more like a trade good.

Dropped another one in about 0300 today. Our empire is gaining ground! Welcomw Vulcan. I see that you have already made it over to the Core. One more game should land me back into the top 25. Haven't been there in a few months. Started the first or the racial victories. Used the Torians. Decent race to play with if you can stand all the green in the display. Any one know how often the Meta updates itself (not recalc). I am ranked 33 and with the score I have O should be ranked 26.

Another one in the bag to help with Weyrs new shiney. 77K Maso against toasters and bugs. Had to destroy all the monors this time. They didn't seem to like the fact that I had transports halfway across the galaxy and kept saying it was in there space. Got the kids off to school and the wife off to work. Its raining in central VA. Guess I'll start another game After I check my current score...

Estabilish your planets first. Try playing against fewer oponents. Gift them tech to keep them happy until you are ready to invade. The AI will usually only equip ships with one type weapon. Defend against that weapon and use a different one for attack.
