Race with me? You may get your chance to catch me. Instead of getting to hang out at home for a bit longer waiting on the ship to return I am now hearing that I may fly over. I have loaded a few games on the laptop though just in case they do. So I will be prepared.

This Meta has always had problems. Come over to GCII. Not that Meta dosen't have issues as well, but it is a much better game.
Therefore, I have a request for implementation of a confirmation dialogue when saving/loading a game, especially loading, which would be optional from within game settings. This would be nice but in the mean time I set auto save for every turn. Also use quick saves as placemarks such as just before war.
Maybe this needs tweaking? What are your experiences with influence victories? Never had one. Turn that option off. Crank up your difficulty a few notches and try doing that. You will get all the war you want.
and those evil, manipulative diplo's? Thanks for the kind words.
People in ships, starbases, cargo, colony and troop vessels as well as construction ships are enlisted personell. For all intents and purposes they do not exist. Wow. Interesting statement.
Has anyone else been able to get an alliance since 1.3 came out? Yes. It take time and trade. You can also try bribing an AI that is stronger than the person you want to ally with, but weaker than you, and then attack the person you bribed.
I'm guessing that is the complaint, although Fuels Chief should have made that clear. Did not mean to be unclear. In fact I was playing the Iconians. Maybe it's the fact that it says a specific number of bonus rou
Boom. 83K. Good enough for the completion of the Racial Victory and to slide into the top 10 right behind the Exaulted one. Now that is done and the PC has a shiney new video card its time to move on to gigantic suicidals. Me thinks the whales won't stand a chance.
Please fix this. It may be minor but it reflects badly on the pride I know you put into this game.
While this is annoying . . . I'd rather have an option to prevent farms from upgrading. Ditto.
Time to start another game.
The UP is one area that is good and in a useable form but alot more could be done with it. It is basically a rehash of GCI and GCI AP. The ideas are you have are good. At minimum I would like to see the wording for the trade resolution fixed.
Another in favor. This has been asked for forever. Maybe we will get it. I like Meglobob's idea of a random event/UP issue. Also be nice to see a few show up on there own too with a GNN that says something like galactic travelers report seeing new anomolies.
1. I use minor races as much as possible to stay ahead in Technology. Trading techs with minors make them tougher for my enemies and keeps me ahead. Are you trading tech for tech or buying it out right? I will trade cash for anything but never give them tech. I use the minors for trade as well. And if an AI goes to war with them you can usuall
Game in. Now I have one more to go for the racial victory (forgot about the Iconians).
Another game in. 1 race to go for the racial vitory.
There are serious issues with the summary screen after completion of the game. I destroyed well over 300 of the AIs ships and the summary says I destroyed only 1. I lost less than 10 but it says I lost 86. Average BC was just over 1K. I was pulling down 30-40K for the final 3 yrs of a 6yr game. Most time intensive tech was Invention Matrix. I did not even research it. I traded for it with the Terrans. I have no doubt about the final score though. That is average with what I usua
You can keep your morale higher and beat the Torian in the rush at the same time. Focus your home world to mil and crank out a few colony ships.
A Galaxy is not enough - all others must experience our diplomatic pleasure
We will not go down without a fight. A bit closer now...
Wonderful idea. Would cut real world playing time in half.
Since morale has been nerfed it is not economically feasable to have extreamely high pop planets. As it is now they can do away with the 300% farm tiles because they are useless. I like the thoughts of the OP but I do not see it hapening. Even at Maso the AI does a lousy job of getting planets and building on them.
If i recall correctly, Stardock allows you to install the software on any computers you own and only one computer will be running the program at any time. You are correct.
Just get the morale resources and morale TGs and you should be fine. Make the farm one of the last things you build on your home planet when starting a game.
