Drengin Federation in Game Talk GalCiv2 Forums

Not really a bug, but I find in odd that the Drengin Federation leader (I wiped them out before getting the name) is a completely different species than Lord Kona of the Drengin Empire. Come to think of it this happened before with the Torians as well. Love the event though. Lots of undefended planets ripe for the taking.

Usually if you can trade for a more advanced tech they will give you its prereqs as well. I know this dosen't work for Terraforming and one or two others though.

From what I ahve seen it looks like there are two different scoring points. Some where around 5 years it appears to be a drop off. If you finish a game before this point you get higher scores than if you finish it between 6-10 yrs. I think the second point is after the 20 yr mark. With the style I play it take forever to get the win. I want all my planets fully built, populized, and tweaked to max efficiency. I also build tons of SBs to support mining, econ, and production. Too boost your military rating you could also built one or two military starbases and equip them with every available weapon. Much cheaper than building a whole fleet of ships. That will scare off most other races who would otherwise see you as a happy-meal SB atk and def do nopt help much in the military catagory. Parking and average flee

I guess I am partial to the Navy being better than the Army. Comes with the job though. I'd have to agree that it would be nice to have some changes to the ground force invasion. As it is now I click three times once I get the invasion screen and go right into the planet screen to change the social builds to what I want. Assuming I win the battle that is.
