I would definatally upgrade my subscription to be able to download premium skins. But only if they are full suites! The poll makes it sound like an icon package is counted as one. Is it possible to even get 200 quality suites in one year? And are these the same skins that others would be able to download for free?

I have the same problem. Some of those weather DesktopX objects are cool but they sure don't work for Canada!
Thanks for the info, guys. Keep up the great work! Us peons appreciate it!
I have noticed a few glitches once in a while lately. If I just wait a while I usually can get on later. I am just thankful that this site is here. You make my day, Wincustomize!!
My husband and i have been married for 19 years (it sounds like a long time doesn't it), but the years have flown by in a pleasant blur. We have two kids (12 and 14 both girls)and they do tend to keep us busy! I didn't think it could happen but our marriage keeps getting better every year. I have been very lucky with my husband. He is my best freind, and we are a team against the world out there. Our marriage has not always been easy (we are both very stubborn) but we always work har
I think the latest poll is not very well worded. I really love WindowBlinds and i also love all the variety that is shared on this site. The variety of the skins is what makes this place great! If i had wanted a plain, boring utilitarian desktop i would have stuck with good old Microsoft! Keep up the great work everyone!
I absolutally love this site. I am a wincustomize subscriber and have always thought that my money was well spent. I think that those who complain about having to pay for this wonderful site, and the huge amount of downloads, are just a bunch of chronic whiners who want everything for free regardless of the quality of service. I have been internet cruising since 1990, and back then just about everything was free, but much to my disappointment the internet has changed. Back in the early days
I side with Chef Garry! I live in Edmonton. We have already had enough snow. I'm waiting for spring. Though from what I've seen we get 10 months of snow and 2 months of bad skiing!
g'day eh! From Edmonton, Alberta!!
I get the "Go Away" message too, and I also use IE. Kind of petty, don't you think?
frogboy, just out of curiosity what exactly did this toddler put into the cd-rom? mine tried oatmeal, she wanted to hide it in the vcr.
feline, your right! forget the kittens and the frogs just hand over the chocolate!
this is gross! couldn't you just get a kitten or a guini pig or something vaguely mammal? i kind of agree with boxxi's idea.
i seem to be great at crashing systems. and i must say that while XP is crashable it does so with much dignity and aplomb (i looked that one up in the dictionary to be sure, it means "poise") teeheehee
renita here, so i take it that there is not much upgrading going to be happening in this new i-mac? i'm the kind of person who can't keep her fingers out of the computer case, you should see the bills! hehehe
true. i am just really disappointed in the resolution of the LCD. does anyone know of a LCD monitor that kicks butt on all resolutions? and don't tell me to get the I-Mac! i have heard that there is an adaptor to adapt it to PC but will it run as good on a PC?
hi it's me again, took me a while but i found the article where it talked about those screens, it was at zdnet, i hope the link stays good, zdnet's bad for that. www.zdnet.com/pcmag/news/trends/t960627b.htm i know that this is probably well into the future but i can always hope, eh? (sorry true canadian here.)
i've looked at a lot of those LCD screens and have not been very impressed. they seem to run good at only one resolution 1024 x 768. a higher resolution is often not available and at lower resolutions the text is very fuzzy! i am also not very keen on the looks of the new imac flat panel. i heard that there is a new CRT in the making though and that will only be an inch thick! i think i'll wait.
yah but the mudslides scare me to death! wink
cool! i would love to move there i love the rain(it's always a great excuse to be on the computer).
why wait the snow is just about gone now! really lousy skidooing weather. what area of the world are you living in now? calgary?
from edmonton, alberta! i woke up to +4C this morning! Yeh! it is usually about -30 in January. bring one the greenhouse effect!
Hey! this is great! very well done!
thanx for the advice. i'm off to the plug-ins!
Hello everyone, This is the first time i have written in this message board and i hope i am not repeating an already answered question. i got DesktopX a week ago and i am going through the tutorial from Stardock but i am having trouble with the general section of an object's properties. i would like to add the DXToys plugin that is supposed to help create the start menu but i only get the "Addtional Modules" section not the "General Plugin (Optional)" section. am i supposed to buy the DX
