He's got a point though. I don't really understand why that flag wasn't used. I can't imagine we're the only ones. I'm sure there's a reason, it just doesn't make sense to us.
I followed fable since the fable on xbox, I love the series, I also got a taste of fable 3 a while back and it made me cry since I don't have a 360.....anymore.
Honestly I don't consider it better than Fable 2. I'm not usually the type that marks things down for change, but they crushed my general playstyle. I think the PC ver is still coming. Eventually.
Isn't it great that the "PC" can transcend generation after generation, changing in components, brands, and power, AND still be called "PC"?
...you lost me. Personal Computer. It's a generic term for a set of components. What's great about it?
No less caffeine is the problem I had a pretty annoying headache. I've tried going off caffeine. I can make it about three weeks before I get incredibly frustrated and go right back on it :p :) And people think Gen Y are the Dew addicts, hah. The point is even the floating point unit was not in the 8086. Most programmers nowadays don't even support below SSE2.
As little as PC gaming gives me anymore, I might as well move to consoles. I have no desire to actually do that, though. The technology train is obviously gimped, if a lot more devs finally get onboard with DX10/11 I'll be impressed.
Funny, it seem that you are not able to read what i have wrote... certainly my mistake...
I did read it, but I was in a pretty bad mood. Though calling the I7 a glorified 8086 then pointing out its massive differences doesn't work. Anyway, my apologies. I need to get some caffeine. :]
Agreed the car analogy vs a bus is a bad example. It is obvious that Thoumsin only has a shallow understanding of CPU architecture.
The funny part is him pretending MMX, 3dnow, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSE4 never happened. Overclock that 486, lets see how fast that puppy is running modern software! Owait, it won't even run it. Right. The evolution of Windows that makes even XP and 2000 much more differ

You guys should just stop replying when Thoumsin speaks. I can only roll my eyes so much before they fall out of my head.
If it needs more time, by all means give it more time. It feels solid to me. The magic system is weird though. I don't hardly use it anymore except to summon a familiar. But it's certainly more interesting than el generico spellbooks before. I only play in the initial game for a while then stop until I feel like coming back, so I haven't had time to go all out like some of these other people. The only bug I've noticed is if I select the Max Texture Atla
I'd love to. Unfortunately, money is tight and I can't afford a new system. I'll have to make do with my lowly single core 3Ghz P4 with a whopping 1GB of Rambus memory. But I'll get right on that upgrade as soon as your check arrives.
Surprise! The PC market doesn't target people with no money. The console market does.
*shrug* I admit I remember something happening but not the details of it. I have to see if I can use HTTPS with the WLM client come to think of it, otherwise I'll stop using it now that they have their site performing decently.
Chrome is installed with some third party apps. IE is susceptible to people installing malware into it, just as any other browsers are. The only real reason not to use IE8 is it performs terribly compared to the competition. Seems more like you found a reason to switch from AVG than anything else.
I've used hotmail since 97...havent had a problem. Simply put, I do not believe you nor disbelieve you, not enough information.
Yes, however it was true when I said it. Steam still gets it over three weeks late.
Considering any open wifi you find has the potential to be used for data mining I would wonder if that's what happened.
LOL anyone still uses Live Essentials??
I use Photo Gallery and Mail. Don't care about the rest.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit just now released on EA and Impulse but not Steam. Shift was released on Steam, but World wasn't. And yes, Sims 3 is another series getting Impulse releases but not Steam releases.
Fortunately Steam can't have a monopoly when publishers are refusing to put their games on Steam. EA is. Mostly due to issues with their expansion packs and DLC, I gather. Also, thank you Steven.
It depends who you ask. I personally can't stand the (lack of) AI pathing but there are plenty of people who swear by it. It only made me wish for another Freelancer :(
Perhaps the biggest sign that the tipping point on direct download has been reached is that the newest WOW expansion is available for DD (and of course only from Blizzard). This is something that many retail stores were up in arms about because it will severely hurt their sales and at least a few threatened to boycott sales of their game (a tactic that has stopped titles in the past from being available for DD). Regarding the price of gam
Quoting random_target, reply 21 ...Because that's not what I see in reality. In reality I see no more than 5-10% discount, usually less for new games... No, Digitial Downloads in reality are often costing more than their retail counter-parts. The best example I can offer is pretty much any Activision Blizzard game available for download. The PC Version of Starcraft II is available for AU$80.00 on shelves
EA's current store and offering is pretty bad. I mean initially they had some ridiculous thing where you could only download for a handful of days and after that you had to pay for the privlege of redownloading the title you paid for. The publishers might try to compete but their greed could easily cause them to fail. I mean really, how much more greedy can you get than trying to get your customers to pay for your product repeatedly?[/qu
Eventually publishers (as EA is doing already) are all going to move to hosting their own services, which will make Steamworks integration far less likely to happen. Some publishers will undoubtedly stick with it for a long time, but I don't expect the biggest ones to touch it.
Is there any conficts with this and your A/V program you are running?
Very possibly. Generally recommended practice is to only run one at a time.
