Produce what you will, even if it's just crap.
Of course it is. If I did something useful the world would explode...I thought everyone knew that. Oooh, tomorrow all my stuff gets here. Well, most of my stuff gets here.
I don't know, you could buy Elemental at Walmat for $40 and Impulse was selling it for $50. But I've bought a few games from them, I would prefer to buy all my games from Impulse, but the selection is limited and you can find better prices other places a lot of the time.
True but I never expected the sales to go this insane. It really makes you wonder about the default prices for gaming...is it REALLY worth 50/60
Steam had all the King's Bounty games (Legend, Armored Princess, and Crossworlds) for $7.50 total over the weekend. Hard to beat
WHAT???? I paid 8.75! Outrageous! I demand to speak to Galactic President Superstar McAwesomeville! Yeah I already had the first two on Beamdog. But since I have yet to find any other use for Beamdog I said what the hell and went for it.

In my view, going on holiday when their distribution system is not working is very unprofessional.
They've had holiday related staging problems before IIRC and I'd be surprised if they didn't learn from this experience. It's one of two things they need to work on IMO (the other being third party expansion
Portability. Plain and simple. With a tower p.c. you are tied down to a single location. It's a trade off between the power of a stationary gaming machine and a portable laptop. Something has to give, at least the the p.c. market.
Nothing really has to give at all. There are games made all the time that work on integrated graphics and games made all the time that require a beefier machine. Develop

It always resets the version to 0.0.0 in the registry when I do that, screws with updating Demigod until I change the version number on that too
nevermind, it's doing it again. hmm

Just played a round where my wifey was the only one in a battle who lived, yet she was magically replaced by Relias and listed as dead when the battle was over. ...I swear I've seen that happen before. Weird.
So todays kids are just too damn stupid or lazy to be able to use computers.... This means that the PC will continue to be a special gaming market where you play one game for like 5-10 years (Age of Wonders series, Half-Life & CounterStrike, WarCraft & StarCraft, Heroes of Might & Magic and the latest and coolest shooters). I'm perfectly fine with that. Belonging to an elite instead of being one of the 100.000.0

ALL the free anti virus solutions are crap, SOME of the commercial ones are crap. ESET anti virus is fairly good. Not perfect, but fairly good.
Well support for XP SP3 and XP x64 SP3 will end in April 2014... Vista mainstream support will end in April 2012... Windows 7 in January 2015... Only a few month difference between the end of support for XP and Windows 7...
So you're comparing one OSes mainstream support to another OSes extended support. Yeah, that doesn't work.

They are the same machines but the capabilities are vastly different. I agree with you but as a power user I differentiate the two. Neither market is anywhere near dying though. They used to say netbooks would take over the laptop market, yeah we're sure missing that less than 1% of the market. Woo. Tablets? Will probably do some damage, given more time. The market is certainly evolving but it'll be a few years before it matters.
