I ran WB4 on a PII 333 with 512mb of memory, and it probaby ended up speeding UP windows XP on that platform. Biggest tiewaster on that machine was starting apps (Office, I'm looking at YOU) and switching active apps. Still have the machine, still runs reasonably well. The single biggest thing you can do to improve WinXp performace is put in memroy to at least 512 mb. Second biggest is to reduce the numer of background programs.
