I have a question, and I think it's on topic with this thread; but does anyone know of a DECENT 3d desktop application for Windows XP?

A moderate democrat loses to an energized conservative base every time. Kerry v. Bush is a great example Are you seriously fowarding the notion that Kerry is a moderate Democrat? GWB is more of a moderate democrat than Kerry!!!
I think you misunderstand, I agree that Social Security should be privatized. My whole initial article was a promotion of privatization. I meant that should we continue to use the same system we have been it will collapse. When I replied to your message I only illustrated that while it would be bad to pay in your whole life and die, it would be even worse to pay in your whole life and then not get a dime back for your troubles. We ar
have to say I am very impressed by this board. I used to discuss politics on Mauisun, but the responses I got were from large numbers of closed minded liberals who felt that if I didn't agree with them then I was a racist, a fascist, or an idiot. I started off on this board with a personal blog to constructively vent my personal trials and tribulations. Then
I agree completely, but isn't it just slightly worse to pay in 14% your whole life just to have the system collapse when you're 64 and you don't get a dime?

Ok I feel the need to begin a discussion on social security. Why are democrats so against privatizing it? If the only reason is to maintain government control over that aspect of our lives then I continue to be for privatization. Heres my take: Right now Social Security is slowly, but inevitably, failing. In the third debate between Kerry an
Thank you for your gracious reply Grim. And thank you Greywar for the insightful:) I also live in Indiana (southwest). I voted for Bush although I also knew that Kerry wouldn't win this state. I just wanted to make sure I effectively used my vote to cancel out at least one vote for Kerry. Every little bit helps. Like I already said, Kerry scared the heck out of me.
FIrst off I'd like to make it clear that I am not a Republican. I am a conservative who voted Bush for president and Libertarian for everything else. I'd like to weigh in on why I feel Democrats lost, as well as to try to provide direction on how they can stop losing; which they need to do (stop losing that is). I have three reasons that I'd like to posit
Crystal moved out. Shannon got married. Getting a "B" at best in Spanish. Kids are heartbroken. I am now a dog owner. Feeling a little tired, a little depressed, a little frustrated, a little liberated, a little blah... Now that she's gone I can actually clean my house and get some schoolwork done. Thank heavens for small favors. I kinda miss her; I really wish I didn
Well, two days in a row have been good days. I could tell Crystal struggled all day long to keep her composure; and there were a couple of times that she snapped at me a little, but nothing even close to something that would have placed a black cloud over the day. She looked this morning like she was going to completely kirk out on the whole world; very shortly after
Well, it's happened. A good day. They don't happen often. I don't know how to contain myself, and I know it won't last, so I'm just basking in the glow for now. These are the days that make all of the others bearable. We started off the day having some quick sex.(I mentioned my upset demeanor about last night just like I said I wouldn't.) I didn't do it in a make-her-
-He has dipped into the social security fund every year he has been in office. There is no such thing and there never has been, contrary to popular belief. Social Security taxes go into, and are paid out from, the general fund. There is no "lock box" or special fund for social security. Wanna fix solvency of social security? Privatize it, pure and simple. Let those who have alread been paying into it receive or continue to
I was so upset about Crystal earlier that I completely forgot to mention last nights events in regard to my youngest daughter (middle child). Her Name is Adeline and she's five, by the way. Anyway, we're in Wal-Mart browsing as occurs fairly regularly in this family; and she reaches out her hand to show us something . We notice that she has blisters all
My ex-wife lives with me. I mentioned that in my previous post, but i did not mention her name. As this post is about her I'll do that now. Her name is Crystal. Crystal is the mother of my children, the woman I married twice, the woman I love and the woman who is going to completely drive me crazy. We were married for 6 1/2 years the first time and we treated each oth
Well, let's see. I guess I can begin by telling a little about myself so that anyone reading has a frame of reference to begin to understand what I'm typing. Born in Washington D.C., I now live in southwestern Indiana with my x-wife, three children, four cats, a micro-dog, a lizard, and probably more fleas than I'd care to admit. I've been married three times and divo
