I get pissed off to no end, right through the ceiling, when I see guys who look like me, i.e., who fit the profile, skirt on through, while others, such as little blue-haired old ladies- are stopped and searched. The U.S. Constitution and its bill of rights were not designed to be a suicide pact. To get on airliner when a person who obviously fits the determined profile has not been thoroughly checked and cleared is to play Russian roulette with all th

It's not so surprising that American women get a reputation for being sluts." Sounds like some hell of a party ... You old dog, I hope you didn't limit yourself to just watching. Thankfully, I have personally encountered many loose women abroad. While some were indeed Americans

Thanks thatoneguyinslc. Clinton State prison, though, is in Dannemora, New York, near the Canadian border. They are one and the same. Those most familiar with the institution, however, do seem to refer to it as Dannemora more often than they call it Clinton. Either way, it's as cold as a witches tit up there.

I will say this about the ACLU: When the state has turned the focus of its awesome power on (against) you, the poor, dangling helpless little individual doesn't stand a chance, so that even a bunch of commies like the ACLU are very much needed as a watchdog, and advocate to assist the individual when no one else will. This is something to think about my righ

This is something to think about my rightwing brothers. Of course, I vigorously disagree with them 99.999% of the time. But I do still a

The following article was inspired by a recent posting about arrogant americans: There is nothing new in old Europe viewing Americans as arrogant. Europe has a long history of doing so, and I, as an American, wholeheartedly agree that we Americans are indeed an arrogant bunch-- even to a fault: i.e., every American who died on foreign soil in defense of the

A buddy forwarded the following to me: "Let me start out by saying that I don't want to simply piss people off......but I do have strong views on this topic. When I was in the Fleet (regular navy) I was stationed aboard the USS Shiloh. At that time it was an all male crew. Things went smooth for the most part. Now when I was in the Teams....we bounce

The silver haired lady confronted her doctor with a complaint of pains all over her body. "Be more precise," he said. "So I can help you, try pointing to some of the places that hurt. The silver-haired doll put her finger on her arm and said, "Ouch!" then her finger to her hip and said, "Ouch!" and then to her rib cage and said, "Ouch!" again. <B

So why do we put our national security into one oil-filled basket? Wouldn't it make more sense to come up with an alternative to oil dependence instead of fighting war after war trying to secure it?" I agree and ask what in the hell are we witing for? I for one will agree to pedd

I guess the real answer to your question is when the question itself is irrelevant: that is, when the same situation no longer inspires the question, it simply won't matter; there will come a time when it simply will not register in the mind as racist; it won't invoke the racism now assoicated with it. . I do believe, however, that the country, in connection with race relations, especially blakc & white, has come along way in short period of time. I

Several years ago here in New York, several fireman wore black faces during a parade and were kicked out of the department. This draconian reaction was outrageous -- these men lost their ability to earn a living . While I personally do not think they should've received any form of punishment, a comprise of a suspension would have been more than sufficient to appease the Jesse & al crowd --the racial piranhas/racketeers/profiteers-- and would have put a

drmiler, the only thing I would add is that these bums ought never be permitted to return here -- even for purposes of shopping, i.e., that more than 90% of Candians weekly cross the border in order to get necessary goods & services. Under Saddam's brutal & lawless regime, 1million plus human beings were murdered. In as much as you presume to speak for the Iraqi people, could you tell us how many Iraqis actually desired to live under a brutal regime such as Saddam's? The only ones I could imagine desiring a return of the old guard would naturally be the relatively few thugs who benefited from his gangster regime -- the old guard of the system. The millions now free from Saddam's

As a New Yorker who has lived in Texas, Virginia Beach/Hampton Roads, etc., all I can say is that I'm wearing my 12 gallon hat as I type this. Sure there were assholes in those places, and some might even say that I was one of them -- but where aren't there? Go W.... Besides which, all real New Yorkers love W.... & are red right down to the marrow of the bone. Moreover, I must confess that I am openly ashamed by just how many New Yorkers, disgracefful
