A blog, I think, is like music. Means one thing to the author, and another to the viewer. Blogs can be used for anything, from the discussion of politics, to the reflections of one's own thoughts. Sometimes people journal on sites like these where someone is sure to read it at some point, and knowing that even though you may never know who read your post, someone did somewhere, and now they carry a little part of you in their memory. In our high-tech and impersonal so

Hmmm, no mention of the "designer breeds", such as Shorkie's ShiPu's, etc. I know there is some controversy over these "new" breeds, and some of it get's very dirty, or the relation between "pure-bred" (which, if you follow doggy roots, doesn't actually exist,) and mutts, expensive or otherwise.

Six months ago I moved in with my partner, D, who lives in a basement apartment of a house that was built in the 1920's. I don't mind old houses, in fact, I prefer them. There is something about living in a place that has seen the varying range of human emotion before. Old houses have flavor. But then there is this house. The original owner built the house himself, and this man, from what I have heard, was not the most sane. The

(I divided most things in boy/girl according to a system that took no thought--it just was obvious to me. Numbers go as follows: 1, 4, 6, 7 and 9 are male (4 is the most manly and heroic while 6 is definitely borderline); 2, 3, 5, 8 and 0 are girls (although poor 3 is unattractive and 5 isn't much better). I can do the same with colors and letters of the alphabet in case anyone wants to know...) I was reading through your blogs, and found this, and was immedia

I'm confused. Not unusual for me, at least, not anymore. Since when is your "score," and the amount of points that you have, different? Or has it always been like that, and I have just completely forgotten? I really don't have anything to say, except, hello, again. I told you that I would stop by every now and then, even though JoeUser is no

For the past few months, I have been exploring my own personal beliefs in what I was raised to believe was "the way," or what I was taught about God, and what He expects from us. I happened upon Little Whips post of "My Issues with Christians." A year ago, I would have been offended. Today, I look at it, and consider it. The main reason for this post

Until you've spent time among illegal immigrants, seen their efforts to enter this country (for their children's sake), I really can't expect you to see it the way I do. The thing is, you are under the assumption that he hasn't spent time with them. I have spent time with many illegal immigra

Also...I think its fine for teachers to have them because they don't need to use them during the day unless it is a break or prep time. I have mine with me only because of the fact that it is my only contact number so out of habit, I keep it with me....but even with teachers, they should be shut off unless they are being used

"It's the sense of touch. In any real city, you walk, you know? You brush past people, people bump into you. In L.A., nobody touches you. We're always behind this metal and glass. I think we miss that touch so much, that we crash into each other, just so we can feel something." - Crash It literally gave me shivers.

There are also two bonuses, one being that the newer cell phones have a dictionary that you set to your language and it puts the words you want for you. For example, to spell CAT all you have to do is press 2 twice and 8 once. Huh? That would be waaaaay too confusing. Actually it is pretty easy.

The women that said that reading the book adds to it were correct. I read the book after I saw the trailer for the movie back in September. The book was very good, and far from a chick-flick. Also, Geisha's were for sale, even after they sold their virginity, but it was similar to a marriage, where the man (the Dainya) paid for everything, clothing, schooling, medical, etc, and this "relationship" usually lasted for many years. They weren

Have you ever clicked on a "Goodbye JU" article, and it was from someone you didn't even know blogged here? I did, today. She (I think) said that she had been here for awhile, and she was going somewhere else because "All there is to it is a bunch of overly sensitive people who need to get a life." Hmmmm.... What did I do when gas prices went up? Well... mostly, I didn't go anywhere unless I really had to. In my area, there aren't any walkable stores, or parks, or anything, so driving was a must. I also allowed my gas to get dangerously low each time before I filled it up again. Anyone know why prices are starting to go up again? They got down to 1.74 (cheapest) down here, and now they are back up to 1.89 (cheapest). <img src="http://images
