There have been quite a few incidents in the news lately that deal with celebrities, and the police. Here are a few instance: earlier this month, Lost star, Michelle Rodriguez became verbally abusive when police tried to arrest her for drunk driving, Kate Moss was video-taped doing drugs, and police got ahold of the tape, Brad Renfro was arrested after trying

If I'm going shopping I wanna go ALONE! I'm like that sometimes as well. I don't like shopping with others because they want to browse. I know what I want, I go, I get it, I'm out. I don't window shop either... makes me want stuff I don't have money for. <img src="../images/smiles/mad.gif" border=0

I have little quirks. Everyone does. And though mine aren't all that unusual, they are sometimes funny, and for some odd reason, I feel like sharing some of them. (The ones that I am aware of.) 1- If I have a plate of food, say carrots, mashed potatoes, and fried chicken, I can only have small portions. Why? Because none of my food can touch another type

I can't stand Kenny G (not a big fan of the sax either) but I love Yanni. Someone on one of these threads calmed them the death duo or something like that. Everything is wrong with KG, but WHAT is wrong with Yanni??

"Experts Warn Against Letting Space Heaters Lead to Fires"--headline, Radio Iowa Web site, Dec. 17" I have never let a space heater lead me anywhere. Candles are portable, so that's what leads me to the fires. And about the sea floor, it's like... (teenage drama queen voice) du-uh!

You could always wipe your ass with the material before sending it back to them. This usually works for me. Can you imagine the poor innocent employee that opened that mail? I would love to be there to see their face.

See, now I can brag that I was mentioned in an article (in a good way), and I can feel happy, so I wont have to have my daily dose of the happy drug.

Doh! I was going alphabetically, then remembered some I missed. By the time I got back to the "S" range, I must have forgotten. Silver and Jade, your name being omitted was truly a mistake. I will rectify it now! Yes, you better... or I will get my revenge. Not that I have a clue what that wo

Please don't feel bad if your name isn't on the list, don't forget my advancing age and decreasing mental capacity. ...I still feel bad...

The White lights are not illegal on any car, and there are too many stories of faux cops that pull people over for other reasons. Exactly. That's why I don't understand why she kept pressing the point of me not knowing that those were "cop lights." <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=cent

Friday morning (we're talking about early morning, as in around 1:30 AM) was a first (and hopefully a last) for me. I ran (or drove quickly) away from a Davis County Sheriff. I don't make it a habit of running from cops, especially Sheriffs, but this was the exception. Before you go and condemn me to whatever painful afterlife you believe in, let me expl

7. The entire state of Idaho: It's nothing personal...But I hate you. Learn how to drive. Up here where it's three lanes on I-15, mixed with Idaho drivers (which we seem to get hundreds of every day), well, let's just say I have flipped off more than a few people. They get in the fast lane and the passing lane, and STAY THERE! They don't pass, and their max speed is around 60. They also don't have a clue about blinkers, tur

And unfortunately, unless you have switched jobs, your "Christmas" season is coming up in a month. Actually, I have switched. Guess I forgot to mention that. Hee hee. I am now a secretary for the Davis Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. I even maintain our website! I really like it here, and now I

I find it difficult (but not impossible) to believe that a recruiter would tell your brother "that it doesn't matter what my parents think, my brother can do what he wants, and that he should gain my dad's signature at any cost" in front of his mother. It doesn't matter what she thinks? Actually, my mo

Someone flips out, others come along and write about it and analyze it. I was just thinking that. It would just die if it was just contained to the original article, but no, there's the two (or more) blogs that both write articles about it each other, and then people add to that with their own articles, and it goes on and on. *Sigh* It makes JU not so boring. I mean what would there be if it weren't for these little wars... <
