I can't speak for the skinners but it seems to me that if the GUI championships are to be started soon, a contest for wb skins may not be such a grand idea right now. That's just my opinion and I may be wrong. I was wrong once before when I thought I wasn't right but I really was.

exactly! the latest builds are betas. if you're using one, you're beta testing. but if you're presently using a beta build, you voluntarily downloaded and installed it. if you aren't happy with the latest beta build, roll back to the 'official' release of wb5 or even further back to wb4.6.

all this bitching about wb and download policies from a kid who says he doesn't use wb? why the hell are you here to begin with, vanilla? also, regarding your comment about a person who ACTUALLY buys and uses wb getting full access for downloading, unless i'm mistaken, once a person buys and activates the program, he/she does have full access for downloading. so, from my viewpoint, every argument against wb, stardock, and wc you've brought up and has been without merit and very easily dispute

rename the *.suite file to *.zip and extract the files you want
i have the same issue but it isn't with ported skins as i have none of those on my system. the skin i use 99.9% of the time is stealthos by mike and i have to reload the skin via wbconfig after every cold boot. as with morpheous416, i see the windows classic gui after every cold boot but that's probably due to the themes service being turned off.
