it's kind of like winzip, izzee. every time you use winzip, you get a nag screen. also, i think after 30 days, winzip stops functioning. i'm not sure about that since i actually purchased the app. would it make sense for stardock to release a free version of windowblinds that does everything the 20 dollar version does? it seems to me that doing that would be pretty stupid on their part. "Let's spend years developing the application and then give it away"

Denon, did you read somewhere that Stardock said it would be released at midnight EST? i never saw anything like that. Stardock said it would be released on the 29th. that means it will be released sometime today, 11/29 EST. i would expect it sometime early to mid afternoon but i could be wrong.

chasbo, if you bought wb a long time ago, you already know tha tby purchasing it, you are entitled to free updates to wb for the product cycle. in other words, you bought wb4 a long time ago, allowing you free updates to wb4. that does not mean a free upgrade to wb5. people who purchased wb4 in september can upgrade to wb5 for free, if i understand things correctly. would it be fair to those people who purchased wb4 in september to only get free updates to wb4 from sept to nov? no, it isn't
