I don't have any 'secret' music. I am an open book when it comes to my friends. A) I was going to answer the same, however, it's not the music I listen to that's secret, it's what I do when I'm listening to it that is! B) "Never assume." C) Do you give money to pan handlers?

the new DIL , I was going to abbreviate it that way, but I kept seeing Tommy's little brother from "The Rugrats" cartoon!

TW, I was going to quote you, but, well, blush, I would have ended up quoting the whole thing! Thank you for your kind words. Yes I remember you too. Adrian right? I hope all is well with him. I seem to remember reading you had a new baby. Belated congratulations. A word of caution on the laptop; if you're using it in the bathroom, you've gone over the edge!

nor does the regulation that governs it require it to be. Yes, we know that well, needs of the service etc, et al, ad nauseum. As a parent I gotta make a noise though. Squeaky wheel and all that.

Well, I've been home sick today. Yes, really. Wasn't feeling real well yesterday, but after taking the trash to the curb, I sat down to have my morning coffee, and after one sip...bang zoom, I set a standing broad jump over the dog to pray to the porcelain god. Now either I really need to clean out that coffee maker, or it's the flu. Momma says "you're hot"

Congrats! My wife gave me one for Christmas. I haven't used it much yet, but it does untether me from the desk. I actually wanted it to be able to sit outside in spring/summer and do things like J/U. Mine did come with a free upgrade for Vista, which I recently received and installed. Unlike the upgrade for Ultimate I did on my tower, the laptop (HP) upgrade actually reformatted the drive and installed clean. They also had sent a dvd with all

For the life of me I can't understand why anyone would get upset over all this drivel. I would never in a million years be so presumptuous to think I actually knew someone from reading the postings on here. You are all so much more than that I would think. It's not so much what people write, as how they conduct themselves. Most of us approach this as either debate, or musings of the mind. Neither I would dare say we would do often in the "real" world.

It gave me the option to do a clean install. However I just upgraded over XP, but you can do a clean install with the upgrade disc. From what I've read I believe this to be a bit misleading. The install type is tied to the CD Key you've purchased (either Retail Box, or Download; I did the download thing from MS (actually Circuit City) but used a WinBeta AIO DVD using my legit Key...btw the WinBeta is the RTM code not pirated).

"Having been in the military in the past, specifically in the reserves, in having relatives that are still serving in the National Guard, I know from which I write." Well ya know, I have to call B.S. on that staement. Your ignorance is pervasive throughout your post. Have you ever been in one of those leadership positions? Even an NCO? What are your credentials and experience for how the budget you cite is used and portioned out? One little clue; d

Pornographic. Not even good pornography. Sort of reads like a 12 year old trying to write about his fantasies. I give it a -5.

Right, click make a shortcut on my desktop. If you have XP SP2, select "send to" when right clicking and you should get a choice to "send to desktop as shortcut" You can also drag it onto the quick launch portion of the task bar so you don't have to go back to your desk top to find the short cut.</f

Not to nitpick, but with all your considerable experience, somewhere along the line you forgot how to use paragraph breaks, and I nearly went blind trying to read your article. Give us old farts a break! I'll edit it. Confidentially I had to pull my glasses down my nose to see the letters on the keyboar

Good googly moogly Martha! I go away from J/U for awhile and there's a total break with reality. I just skimmed over various articles and their related replies and I'm just shaking my head in disblief. Perhaps it's my impression of a blog; kind of a quasi newspaper/magazine article diary sort of thing with a "Letters To The Editor" thrown in. I used to work

"The spirit that made America into the country that she is, is DEAD!" What spirit would that be? The selling of a war has to appeal to the basic question of "is it right or wrong to a majority of the populace?" For example (simplistic) Revolutionary War; Foreign rule and taxation without representation = bad. Self rule by representative government and preservation of personal freedoms = good. Therefore we buy war. And again the Civil War S

But they thought they were getting close at the beginning of the twentieth century, and that we would never make it until 2000. And here we are, in 2006. So I don´t really know. I believe the Mayan calendar ends at 2012. Biblically speaking, Jesus taught only the Father knew, however He said we would kn
