Hi, I have purchased the Liquidox theme and installed it on my system. I have then tried to modify the black color of the Task Panel's background color into a gradient one using SkinStudio (as I did previously for another theme). But when I'm applying (shift-F9) it to my system, the background color won't change and remains as it is definded, ie black. What am I missing ? Thanks for help Francois

Hopeless... I have checked everything I could think about... No matter the options I'm setting in SkinStudio (image, single color, gradient), the task pane remains black and only black. Is it possible that somewhere in my system, a setting overwites this skin setting ?

Hi, I had some trouble (HD went broken and I also had to replace a DIMM). Now (and I tested a lot of different monitor widgets and they show all the same behaviour) I can display the used RAM amount the SWAP, the time and uptime, but not the CPU activity nor the IN/OUT network activity. What do you suggest to fix this ? Thanks in advance Francois

I have some folder shortcuts on my desktop and have it replaced by some DX objects and setting their targets. Everything is fine. Now if I browse my desktop from within an application (Word for example) I can't see these DX objects. (when using regular shortcuts, I can "see" them). Do I forget to set something or is it the "right" behaviour ? - if this is the case, I cannot see any advantage to use objects instead of regular shortcuts - excep

Ok, I wrote an email to support. Meanwhile, looking at the FAQ, I found this: Firstly, create the object that you wish to be scripted then add the DXScript plugin from the General/Additional Modules section. Click Configure. Once in the DXScript editor, select your scripting language (usually available are VBScript and Jscript Ok, I did not add this plugin, I was following a DesktopX tutorial and did not see or understood that I h

I am using DesktopX for a while but only as a user without problem. Wanted to have a look at building objects and followed the desktopX tutorials. Everytime I'm building a new object and hit "new scritp" I have a DesktopX error asking if I want to send the problem to M$. Also when trying to open a script of an existing object I get this error. Any hint ? Using DesktopX 3.10.042, XP SP2, admin account.
