I would certainly agree that there niether option is perfect. And yes...If my PC crashes at midnight it's probably God telling me to go to bed. Which is exactly what I would do. Maybe I'll just build my own. That could be a lot of fun as well.

Aqua...I've gotta disagree with you on the "White Box" PC being better than the "Chain Store" type of PC. Maybe that is due to the fact that I live in a little town where the local computer guys just stink...but for me I want access to all my drivers in one place on the web. If I ordered a Dell or Alienware or something of that nature, I'd have all the updates right at one site. If I ordered the "Local Guy PC" I'd have to go to all kinds of different sites to get updated drivers. <

I've been thinking about a PC replacement. My 4 year old Dell PIII 733 is starting to get a little slow. (Less than a 6 months after it's most recent reload) I want to get something that is top notch but still somewhat of a reasonable buy. Plus, the Alienware stuff rates real high on the cool factor scale for looks. I have no problem spending $4k on a PC if it will serve me with $4k worth of product. I've never spent that much on a PC...have any of you? What's the best PC out there these days?

I just read Brad's 10 year blog. Wow...talk about memories. I jumped on to Windowblinds as soon as I saw it. I would get so frustrated with trying to keep it running with Win95/98. I was always checking the newsgroups to see what fix was next. I saw value in it early on and I'm glad I stuck with it. It's an awesome product. I remember trying to decide whether or not to just get WB or the entire ODNT package. I splurged for ODNT. Then I had to explain it to my wife. She didn't get it then. She do

I have always held this site in high regard. It has always held a higher standard, helping artists when their work gets ripped, offering great products, providing exceptional tech support on a variety products, and just simply giving a kind ear (and voice for that matter) for people who are users as well as artists. I would love to download lots of cool bootscreens...but if it is illegal then I insist...don't do it just cause it is popular. To do so would be a complete contradiction. J

I'm using the PixOS theme for OB. The problem I have is that when I maximize the active window on the desktop it goes underneath the object bars. I know I can set the maximum window size in FX but that seems to be doing things the hard way. Isn't there a way for OB to maximize the active window using the area that is NOT taken up by the OB. Thanks for your help!
