Not always true. For maps with more numerous planets, it's both cheaper and faster to buy factories while building ships than it is to buy ships and build factories. this is true. it costs i believe 10x in credits to buy something then to build it

Why would the starbase tear apart if you were applying an even thrust from all parts?
