He died on July 4th, 1826, the same day as Jefferson, his Vice President, successor, and biggest political rival, died. It was also on the 50th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

Of all those quoted only TWO are considered AP, the rest are regular rifle ammo. Just an FYI...ALL AP rounds use a "steel" core which is the actual penetrator. Check the link: The 7.62x54R B-30 is AP The 7.62x51 comes in several AP cartridges, T93's and m993 The 7.62x51 WC is an AP round <BR

No you didn't read all of your link. Go to the linked page and before you scroll down to far you will see a blue pane with a picture of a vest on the left and writing on the right. In the FIRST sentence it PLAINLY states that it will stop rifle rounds and SOME AP rounds. Notice they do NOT say ALL AP rounds. I read the entire page. And I read wh

what the hell is a terp and why are you a fan of them? I think its the Maryland Terrapin, which is the huge angry looking turtle that is Maryland's mascot. At least that's the only Terp I've heard of. Terrapin Picture It's the Ma

and whatever else he did to lock up the border, it would be met with strong opposition from most because of the "big brother" implications. I see the complaints coming from immigration lawyers and race pimps, and MALDEF fits both categories.

Brad, it beats the music I just heard coming back from the bank about an hour ago. I pull up alongside a beaten up oldsmobile being driven by an impressionable white youth enamored with black culture, listening to some amateurish rap song with lyrics about "raping a cracka bitch and slittin' her throat." He then turns toward me and tries to give me a menacing stare, as if a pimply-faced, 110 pound wigger is supposed to be fearsome. So I resp

I didn't even want them to impeach Clinton, and he actually broke the law. As far as I can see, Bush hasn't broken any laws. "High crimes and misdameanors" is not what you're describing. I agree. I don't believe this would fall under "high crimes and misdemeanors." I think Clinton was a big ph

Actually, that's not true. Point Blank's Interceptor body armor is designed for rifle fire. The ceramic trauma plates inserted inside the vest provide additional protection to the chest/back and are designed to stop high velocity projectiles, like that from rifle fire. The most resistant anti-ballistic plates I can find are the Gamma Plus plates. They are an inch thick, an

Given his budget for 2006 it won't happen before 2007. I hope the terrorists will wait! I agree with you, COL Gene, that Bush is irresponsible with his neglect of the Mexican border. Now since it seems to have arisen such passion within you, I urge you, in the meantime, to do your part: <a hre

Controlling the borders and illegal immigration is the biggest beef I have with the President. Border Patrol should probably be reorganized in a military fashion rather than a law-enforcement agency. I also support large scale deportations, strict fines for hiring illegals, and if necessary, an intimidating physical barrier on the southern border.

You are correct. That is as long as their not using AP (armour piercing) rounds. And those come in all sizes including NATO rounds. Various 5.56x45mm rounds <a href="http://www.conjay.com/Ammunition%20for%20Armor%20Testing%20East%207.62mm%20x%2

BTW rekki you do realize that body armour is Not all that good? Shoot at it with an AK round at close range and it'll go right through the vest. Body armour is designed to stop "low velocity" IE: pistol rounds not rifle rounds. Actually, that's not true. Point Blank's Interceptor body armor is designed

Wow! I've yet to see a fox in my life. That is very neat. But I could have sworn Red Foxx died. If you're near St. Louis, and you're an AF wife I assume it's Scott AFB? I'm in IL too. Closer to Champaign, though.

In Illinois? An earthquake?? That's unusual indeed, heh It's pretty impressive isnt it? You cant do anything about it just have to wait for it to stop. Thanks for your comment Eastern Diamondback. We do have quakes here every so often. But they are usually centered further to the south. The 2004 quak

The conditions that are claimed to have resulted from the sanction are totally at odds with the demographic changes in Iraq. The poverty that is claimed to have resulted from the sanctions in Iraq would typically lead to A. Abnormally high infant mortality B. Dramatically increased rate of miscarriage and stillborns C. Noticeably lowered fertility and it would probably have a dramatic effect on the demographics. I have figures from the World Factbook from

Sinclair owns many local affiliates, especially in smaller markets. My two local NBC affiliates out of Springfield and Champaign (IL) are such examples. And believe it or not, Brian Williams still appears on the NBC Nightly News. Not only that, we get Dan Rather on CBS and Peter Jennings on ABC too. We get CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News. We get two PBS stations. We get WGN News. We get the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Sun-Times, The St. Louis Post-Dis

Did you ever entertain the possibility that Madeline Albright is just a dumb bitch? I'm not taking anyone's word for it. Like you said before, show the evidence. How does a country suffer such "genocide," yet increase its population by 40% in just 12 years? I also don't want to forget to mention that these were the same sanctions people tout as the reason why Iraq didn't have the NBC weapons.

UN sactions on exports were placed on Iraq on August 6, 1990 in response to their invasion of Kuwait. Following the defeat of Iraq in the Gulf War, sanctions on military weaponry were enacted. The population of Iraq in 1991 was approximately 18 million. The quoted figures state that 7,000 Iraqis (5000 of them children) were

I was sitting at my computer reading e-mail late one night in late June of last year when all of a sudden i felt my chair shaking and the drawers and cabinets around me rattling. My computer monitor trembled back and forth for about 6 or 7 seconds. I froze for second. After the shaking stopped, I walked over toward my open window. I was looking and listening for a big truck or something. But it was deadly silent. My wife woke up and came into my
