The librarian would have been in a better position if she had done just what the supervisor asked. She was asked to issue a warning and that's exactly what she should have done. I work in IT. I catch my users doing things they shouldn't all the time. (I have only caught porn a couple of times and those folks were immediately fired) It is my responsibility to report and then take the action my director tells me to do. An example would be: We have a str
I did once have dreams of being an architect
So did my wife before we had kids and my mom still does. She will get her degree in the fall. Both of them designed houses professionally. Sadly, I know a little to much about some of this stuff for my own good. You should check out your local parade of homes. You will see a lot of the newer design concepts and I'm sure you will find that the 'flow' of the house is a lot better. I could go on all day about design but that re

Lets start with design. The house is all wrong. The laundry room should never be off the main living floor. In fact, most modern homes have them located on each level of the house. (in this design that wouldn't be necessary) The general flow of the floor plan is off. A standard desin concept is to have a hearth room where your kitchen and family room kind of blend together. I could tear this floor plan apart but that's not the point. I would definately have someone who knows design do yo

So, are you guys looking at sustainable design or are you trying to use better building products? It's been a couple of years since I went to the International Home Builders Show but there were some amazing building products out there.

My wife stays at home with our 14 month old triplets. I have no doubt that the progress they have made is directly a product of having a stable environment and maintaining a schedule. They were born at 31 weeks 5 days. They were just a little over 2 months early. From the beginning our doctors let us know that we should be developmentally behind by that same time. <span
I would speak with you more about it, but as you and Tova were both quick to point out, you guys are NOT my friends, and I was a fool to think of you as such.
You know Gid; I counted you as one of my friends. Apparently, I must have been wrong. Friends don't lie to each other. On several occasions I

I would have loved the Love and Logic class. The book is great. I'm going to have to see if I can find that class somewhere close.

I usually don't end up with the waiting in line sort of luck. Just last night, I had to pick up some tomatoes on my way home. I stood behind a couple of folks at the self checkout. The person checking out finished up and the woman in front noticed I only had one thing so she insisted that I go before her. This time I would have been happy to wait because I was having a conversation with one of my children's NICU nurses and his wife but she insisted. She said she was paying by check and

I hate the whole homosexual agenda. I don't have a problem with gay people. It's their eternity. Right? What I have a problem with is a minority who is shoving their ideology in our faces every chance they get. I am a Christian and unlike some I don't wear it as a badge on my chest. I don't generally go telling the world or spreading the word. That isn't something I have been compelled to do since I was a child. So here is my real issue... If I don't have the <em

I guess mine is bigger not that you could compare since you haven’t seen yours in a while.
Do I believe that we need change in our political system? Yes. Do I believe that we are all Americans no matter whether we're conservative or liberal? Yes. Do I believe that underlying all our differences, we have common desires? Yes. ...[/quote
He said, "There is not a liberal America and a conservative America - there is the United States of America. There is not a black America and a white America and latino America and asian America - there's the United States of America."
Do you really believe that? I'd tell you to crawl out from under your rock but it seems you've already done that only to start bashing youerself in the head with it.

I think it's hilarious that the same people that squawk about Bush being such a big idiot are generally the ones that claim he is the mastermind of [insert evil plot here].
Clearly the support side has no idea what needs to be done to fix the problem, short of the total and complete re-install.
I would really be pissed about doing the reinstall but I only use it for HTPC apps. As long as I don't have any issues playing back seasons 1 and 2 of heroes I am cool with the DRM that might be on those files. I do hate DRM but it looks like it's going to be around for a while.

I have been running Vista since RC1 as my HTPC. I did a media center update in November and my guide went poof. I haven't done anything about it yet due to time issues and the fact that the writers are on strike and there is nothing good on TV anyway. I am going to have to blow it away soon because now my remote stopped working.

Mine came from my short college radio career. It was my first night and the girl on before me who was about as nerdy as any person could be gave me the name Just John. She wore coke bottle thick glasses and snorted when she laughed. I should have known better than to reply to her question the way I did. Her - What do you want to be called? Me - Huh? Her - You know, your radio name. Me - Just John, that's it. I've had a fe

I wonder how they are going to regulate the amount purchased. If the Illegals can counterfeit green cards and SS cards, a doctors note is a piece of cake. And besides, are the machiens going to be networked? The article said that it is a prepaid service. You get an id card and they fingerprint you. I
