Hurray, I love online games. So, is it skinnable? Can I design my own ships?

Hmm, I bet this is just temporary down time _again_, It'll probably be back to haunt us soon.
Joy! Come on Froggy, give us some good news...
Worry not, that'll be hacked as soon as it comes out.
Not much to add here. Seems the people have spoken already!
I know themes.org got hacked, but in the hands of the FBI? Jeez, why?
And if you can't reboot to DOS, try accessing it while booting. Boot your machine and as soon as you see the message "Starting Windows98..." press f8 (or if you don't have fast reflexes, just hold Ctrl while booting). You should end up in the Win98 strtup menu, where you can boot to DOS. Alternatively, you can use your startup disk (yes, that thing you should've made but never bothered to actually make) and boot into DOS that way. Then perform the steps Jafo mentioned and you'r
Listen to AJ and do check out the ActionXChange, not just to find interesting effects, but also to pick them apart and see how they're done.
Until the next craze rears its ugly head, that is...
I always point people towards these two sites... http://desktopian.org http://floach.pimpin.net ...not that you'll find any particular tutorials there, but it's a good place to start. Oh, and when you're off playing with LiteStep and Windows tells you to reinstall Windows, don't listen!
Haha, but I was close with my Portugese bit!
What they ^^^ said!
Umm, well, regarding DeskMod, you do know it is dead? LotsOfSkins died too and we''re currently being flooded with XP crap. Oh, and I've got your rug here. It's still dry!
Or is that Renato-the-Portugese-treetog-de-Caveras-Junior?
Blaize? Seems he doesn't need a nick when he signs up for the boards! Again, congratulations!!
Hold on, hold on, I'm off today, so I'm slow. Demo's means coding up small applications and stuff, right? A bit like the intro's people used to make for SNES roms and such?
Even Win2000 behaves with 128M, although that's on my 800MHz beast.
My RAM is bigger than yours! Most of the skins I've made in the Dark Aeons that lie behind us, where done on a p75 with a measly 32M RAM. Nowadays it's got 128M, but if you set your caching right (ie: use CacheMan), you'll only swap at start up or when starting or closing a heavy app.
/me sees my point proven that 90% of the world has no taste whatsoever
Server problems. Read the news post on the front page here. Crap, that leaves us with this place, skinbase and DevArt. The circle is getting smaller and smaller...
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!
The elixer is called http://www.virtualplastic.org
Oi, congrats man!
