Just today while talking to a neighbor, she told me how she bought a used car from a personal seller and how she "Jewed the seller down" I asked her what did she mean by that? She told me that "well you know how cheap Jews are"? "they are always looking for a better deal" When I told her I am Jewish, she turned red and ran indoors. While I don't think She is an out and out racist it goes to show how some things become accepted as the "norm" Was I insulted? yes. surprised? no.
