I use to have the problems you've been experiencing and I found out, I cannot change where the file I want to download is going in zip. I use to try to change the destination but I could never find it. So, when I download a theme, suite or whatever, once it goes to zip, I just click next, next, next, etc.. It doesn't seem as simple as that for me either. In Icon Packager, I click on a Theme I like and the Apply button remains inactive until I click on the Load button. Then a preview pops up, I adjust the size icons I want, click close; then I can click onto Apply and then after a few monments, the entire program States "Not Responding". Very frustrating.

The way I have done this is to right click on your desktop and the Desktop menu should appear. Mouse over DesktopX an click on "SaveTheme" on the submenu, name your theme, click save. Then right click on your desktop again, mouse over DesktopX, click on "Load Theme" and your theme should be among the other themes.

I have a similar problem and half the time I just unload DesktopX altogether. Problems like you said, the items, after reboot, are either in different places or gone completely. I go into DX to try to reload the Widget and a message pops up stating "I am already using an item with that ID and need to change that ID or not install this object or it will not work properly". That's an excellent idea but I believe they should all be Objects as opposed to Widgets. Objects can be saved to the desktop easier and stay where they are supposed to be after rebooting.

Is there anyone out there who can make some skins that look more feminine? I would love to see more florals, Victorian subjects, scenery/gardens, anything pretty but not cartoon.
