I have a suspicion that my difficulty level has also been reset. that would explain my now huge defficit because i would no longer be getting the bonuses to economy for playing on begginer (my first game).
So how am i supposed to know what to set it back to. I know i didn't thange anything, it should have been on default. with about 33% in everything, but im still loosing tones of money. I've also tried ajusting the slider over and over again, but im still going in the red.... -also now that ive loaded it when i compare myself to other races, i have zero in everything (AKA their bar if full, m

yep, it has to be a bug. I saved and loaded again without changing anything, or hitting the turn botton. now im at -55 bc a turn, and alls i did was save-load, save-load
im pretty sure ive found a bug, and its pissing me off. Before I loaded a saved game, i saw i had about +26bc a turn. I did a quick save, tried something out, and then loaded it again. I then look and i was loosing 35 bc a turn. -I don't know whats causing this, but depending on how long this accidental depression lasts, im probly never going to play this game again, becuase lets face it. Im going to have to load at some point.

uh, I was reading over the most recent game example, and I realized something -When the torians had a "Darastic change in ethical philosophy occred", the leader head didn't change. If i remeber I read something earlier that when a "darastic change in ethical philosophy occured" that meant a coup has occured and the government has been replaced with a radically different one. Ok, I pre-ordered Star wars:empire at war, and this game at the same time. Well its now two days passed the realease of star wars, and NO game. If they are going to do that with star wars, im affraid they will do it with Galactic civs 2, and I can't deal with that. I've been looking forward to this game for forever, and im not content with getting it a couple days late. I was just curious, does any one know anything about the thalan. I've read the IGN thing, and It suggest that they are here from a different time to stop some event from occuring. hmmm. Doesn't this force you to put most of your navy in the same stack. I mean If you spread out your forces and the enemy has all there ships In one massive fleet, then your screwed even if you have a much larger navy than them

crap i have a problem. In stardock central when i try and download the update for the altarian prophecy it won't let me. I says i have an invalid registration, but in the registration panel it says my cd key is valid. ---- please help
Ok, ill try playing on the lowest difficulty level untile i get the hang of it also-does anyone find it slightly comical how many difficulty levels there are. sorry i just thought they were funny one more thing-i see in the options there is a cheat code activaded option. im not a fan of cheating, but what is this all about.
Im a noob-a serious noob i just wanted to state that i can't stand that no matter how hard i try, i can't win. i always get jacked on starting positions, and i just suck. my main question is- what should i do to get better one more question-is there anyway to win without using some high strung stategy. i mean can i be the best by just playing the game as i go.
