Just thought i'd point out a little bug i've encountered. The text in the Help tab of some sections seems to overflow beyond the limits of the tab and one can't read any further. It's not exactly a show-stopper bug, but it does make things difficult if you're trying to find out what some of the icons mean.

The easiest way would be to use SkinStudio, as it is easier to find and edit the element you're after. The harder way would be to edit the files direactly, using Notepad or some such. This will require some digging and you'd need to know what to look for. I believe that changing the colour that text will also affect other areas of the skin.

No, you're not alone. It's true that the true potential of ObjectDesktop, or perhaps DesktopX even, as an applications platform hasn't even been stlightly tapped. It's still quite young but hopefully -if support for Vista gets worked out- things will get better. We have some great talent such as Tiggz, Gef, RomanDA and VadM (to name just a few) who've made considerable efforts to the most out of the platform, but yes, there's still a lot more that

Premium skins offer the best solution for both the style-conscious and usability-minded user. They're made with those ideals in mind and come out looking clean and professional. Take a look at the [link="https://www.stardock.com/products/themes/"]premium skins page[/link] for further reference. Sure, they cost a little, but the quality is worth it. ;)

That's not pushing anyone away at all. Most authors on WC also have other accounts elsewhere they can use to disseminate their work. I myself have my own gallery on dA, as well as some other sites. It's a great way to expose one's talents to a wider audience. dA has an extremely large user base and while you're not likely to have *everyone* on there checking out your work, it's mere availability to that user base makes it a worththe time. WC, on the other hand, has a great close-

From what I know of DesktopX, it seems like an ideal platform on which which to build somthing like Orbit, but as SirSmiley says, it will definitely require you to get your hands dirty with some scripting and code. But it looks like it could be worth it. I'd love to see something like it, both highly configurable and awesome-looking. Good luck... :)
