Phoneix, if your inspiration comes from the adulation and praise of others, your approach is flawed and you would have been disappointed one way or another. This is because no matter how great you are at your art, you'll eventually create something people will think is not as great as you seem to think it is. Not every artwork you create will be front-page news, and that's a good thing. Take a look at the examples of some of the top artists on WC. They're unassuming and modest about
42= Pizza. Its tasty and life reaffirming, It is your best friend on a lonely night, It still is there in the morning and don't care about your breath, It never calls you fat or lazy, It never moves with all your stuff while your at work, It's always there (in 30 min or less) to make you happy and ever asks any thing in return.
omg... Not really, i suppose if they all have the same number of equivalent smilies and all the same aliases (:congrats:, ^_^, etc) it could work out so that the user sees only the set they've selected.
Ego in and of itself isn't the problem. As Jafo tried to point out, ego is a requierement of sentience. It is self-awareness. It is, as the dictionary puts it: "the “I” or self of any person; a person as thinking, feeling, and willing, and distinguishing itself from the selves of others and from objects of its thought." Thus necessary for sentience. Bit of a fourgone conclusion....
Yeah... i made mine with the intent of using them elsewhere if they weren't used here. I probably would have hosted them somewhere else and used them anyways. ;P There's great expression on yours though horizon, they're very well done. :CONGRAT:

Kinda lame that something like that can't be shared, would be a great legacy to leave the world. Make me think it's all just bollocks, or as The__Goo said, a marketing gimmick to spark sales.
Eating humble pie is good for the soul. Everyone should have a slice or two every now and then; keeps you balanced and level-headed, and likeable and approachable by others.

Well, here's a team effort from myself and Steph. The Digi*Cons are designed to be small and compact yet convey emotions quickly and clearly at a glance. We've endeavoured to include every emoticon specified in the rules as well as some additional others. You'll also find cameos by some of WC's (in)famous personalities. :HOT: ;) So have at it. :CONGRAT:

Personally, i think if you're willing to download a 111MB dream, a 30MB increase is piddle for a nicer view. I'd download it just to try it out... ... if i had Vista. :P
There are other applications that will allow you to specify transparencies for applications, even up to having different transparencies for different applications.
