Tastes and preferences will vary from person to person. For anyone to suggest that WB6 is useless or not worth having because no one has catered for their esoteric and eclectic tastes is just moronic. Sure, so one person likes "subdued, elegant and consistent" themes... but that doesn't mean everyone else will. Moreover, one who is looking for a certain type of look is sure to be critical of everything that they try out. Very few skinners will actually skin to satisfy others' tastes an

Have you tried adding the game to the WindowBlinds exclusion list so that it is not skinned? You can access this by going to the Settings tab in the WB configuration, the going to Change the look of an app , then click Add per application setting and browse for your CS executable. In the past few months, I've played Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One, Day Of Defeat: Source, Team Fortress 2 and last night even Portal without any problems while running the

Same happens here. JRSCCivic98, I'm sure Neil or someone in his team will be checking up on this soon enough. It's not a show-stopper bug by any means so it doesn't hurt too much to be patient.
unfortunately, there no way I know of, of removing the icons on taskbar buttons. you can hide the quicklaunch and systray icons but i think that's as far as it goes.
"The birthday is quick!" Gotta love babelfish!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JJ!
It works fine here but you might want to try adding WMP to the WB6 exclusion list so that it doesn't get skinned, at least until the issue is sorted out. You can find this option under Settings > Change the look of an app > Add per application setting .
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TIM!! Hope you have a great day!!
mmm cookies... Have been running the betas and installed WB6 yesterday. Everything's working as it should so far, except for the IntelliPoint issue Neil pointed out, but I can live with that. Hope it gets fixed though. Other than that, kudos to the WB6 team.
w00t 's for Neil & his team!
Hey Kona... Good to hear you quit smoking. That's probably one of the smartest things a smoker could ever do. It's great to hear you're doing better.
Running XP here... but the few times I have set my pc to hibernate or suspend, I have enocountered no problems at all. Guess you must be on Vista.
I get the same thing happen here... It's nice to know what's causing it... ...I don't really like the idea of having to kill IntelliPoint though, since it controls my mouse button functions. I can pretty much live with it till it gets fixed. DigitalCHET
Fixed for you Chet - Erk Thanks Erk.
I wondered the same... there's no telling how he came to that conclusion. Perhaps some proof of that statement would've helped.
My current desktop. Errr... Start menu icons are Next-OS Black by Treetog .
Perhaps listing the differences between a 5 and 6 skin might help too
Agreed.
Nice work Neil & Stardock guys. I've updated but haven't restarted yet. Hopefully there'll be no hiccups or major problems. DigitalCHET says a little prayer before turning off his computer.
Happy b'day Koop! ...and many more.
Ha! Told like the back of a fly....
