Jonathan, In Stardock Central go to "Tools" > "Settings". There will be two options. "Enable MCP SmartStartup" and "Enable MCP Notification Area". Disable both those options, close Stardock Central and reboot. Email into Support and we can email you a new copy of the file to see if that helps. --- OrbitJuice [Stardock Support]

A couple things you might want to try: 1) In the WB 5 config, under "Troubleshooting" enable the option that fixes corrupted titlebars. It draws/paints the skins differently. 2) Update your video drivers. The unresponsiveness maybe video related. 3) Windowblinds 5 is BETA. In the Windowblinds Advanced Configuration under "Basic Settings", make your you have the option "Apply any wallpaper supplied" checked. You also need to remember that skins don't always include a wallpaper. Even though there maybe something different in the screenshot than what you are using, the author who captured the screen show may have just been using a different wallpaper than you <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Wink.

Hi, You can try two things. 1) Edit the skin with SkinStudio, and set the desktop color to what you prefer and save it. 2) In Basic Settings uncheck the "Apply the skins colour scheme option". This will use what is specified in Windows. However, it may give undesirable results as to how the skin should look.

Is it possible to get a low bandwidth version of the show to download? There are some people (even on the dawn of 2006) who are on dial up and many countries only offer metered bandwidth plans to home users for hi-speed/broadband service. 50mb or so every week, is a sizable chunk if your monthly bandwidth quota is only 2gb - 10gb. Something like 24k -22hz Mono or 32k - 22khz Mono, considerably drops the file&nb

In regards the connectivity issues with Stardock Central, Stardock.Com, Wincustomize.Com and other sites which Stardock hosts/owns. At this time, Level 3 Communications and Cogent Communications are at odds. As a result, any net traffic exclusively through Level 3 connections to the Cogent network is not making it to its destination. We'll see over the coming little bit whether they come to an agreement or other peering relation

If you really wanted to do something dynamic, you could always get some Shoutcast streams and maybe do a live show once a month or so. Open up the phone lines and take calls live on the air. I know someone who works here who has all the equipment to pull that off.

Having ran and Internet Radio station for 4 years and having done a few hundred live shows, you guys are doing EXTREMELY well. The hardest part by far is getting the groove and nitche down - but you have accomplished that. One thing you may want to try, is a Q&A segment. The "peepz" send in emails, you answer the questions.
