Eric; Read the info at the link that you provided. DesktopX is only $19.95 and I don't think the free version has an expiration at all. Secondly, to explain the Beta site thing. Wincustomize.com 2k5 which is in beta shares the forums with Joeuser.com. They are both stardock sites.
