Over at LOS I posted a set of guidelines for new wallpaper authors quite a while back. Just yesterday I finally got around to polishing it up a bit and posting it on Joeuser. Please have a look and let me know if you have any suggestions or things that need to be added or taken away from the article. The purpose is to give people a quick link to a set of guidelines when someone wants to know why thier wall got moderated or recieved a low rating. You can get to the article here http:

In the world of desktop customization the easiest thing to change and also the easiest thing to create is the wallpaper, everyone can use them and just about any one with a image editor can make one. In this article I will try to help the newcomer avoid many of the little accidents that I have made and that I have watched others make.</font

/me is happy with the sections we have. A fire fox section would be nice but so far all of the Mozilla browsers are like trying to hit a moving target with the skins. With each new revision all the skins have to be changed....

After a little more research I will retract the turn a wrench statement. Current forcast by the DOL show that tech jobs in the medical industry are where the majority of the growth is. Living in a area with lots of retired people I can believe this and also know that most of the jobs do not require a degree, but most require a certificate and between 6 and 18 months of technical training. Dr. Guy I agree if it's free many

Just to play devil's advocate here, What's up with the worry about College, I know several dozen people that have BA or BS degrees that are working for much less money than I am. I also have 3 MBA's that work the same job that I do. To put this in the right context I guess you should know a little about my eductation. Eight years ago when I started work for this firm I had no education past high school with the exception of 6 years of milit

Nice Ideas My opinions: 2. Yes lets lower taxes on companies. Last I read most of our companies are taxed at an average of 25% I think it was yet a company in developed foreign countries are getting taxed at a rate of 15% or less. 3. I'll have to do some thinking on this one, but you do make a good point and it would also help eliminate the outsourceing of american jobs. 4. I definatly agree with this one, right no

To avoid a Draft; Educate the young about the advantages of serving your country. I served for 6 years in the US Navy got to visit many foreign and domestic ports that I would have never went to otherwise, learned how to take care of myself and best of all the Goverment is now paying me back by footing the bill for the rest of my college education. Get the kids to sign up now and a draft won't happen and they will get the benifits, w

Lucky, my cat has a strange attraction to ear plugs. I have to walk through a noisy area where I work to get to my vehicle, so I have to use the ear plugs. When I get home Lucky will whine and cry till I give her one then she will play with it for hours..............

Thanks Froggy; From an ecomomic standpoint I would rather have more of the same ( nothing) from Bush. If the economy is left to the federal reserve, who has also been pretty much hands off for the last little while things will even out. However if the politicians start screwing with it who knows where we will end up? One thing that could help speed things up would actually be another small tax break for the general public and/or cor

’Only if they will let me do it and the money is available’ should be the title of Senator John Kerry’s economic plan for America. While reading through his economic plan I discovered what seems to be an underlying theme of promises that just won’t ever materialize. I do however believe that he has written up quite the plan to get interest and probably some votes fro

Guys, this may help.... Go to http://skinners.wincustomize.com and login in the upper right hand corner with your wincustomize info. When I did this it asked me if I wanted to creat a website.... BRAD you should really have skinners.wincustomize.com be generic and only for sign up or a directory of homepages, not your frogboy.wincustomize.com site. This seems to really confuse people.

I have mine working @ http://tast.wincustomize.com . What I'm wondering is how these "home pages" will be accessed? Right now it seems that you have to go to the direct url.... In the near future will they be accessed by clicking on a user ID on WinC?

I skin for me. Hang on let me think.......... Yea, I skin for me. I decided that a long time ago. I update my skins or create new ones ( which I have a new, grayscale, Idea for) when I feel the need to update my own desktop. When people complain that I didn't do this or that I generally say if you want to mod it go ahead, I'm probably not going to until I feel it needs a change. (just give credit where it is due). If you skin to please others it's a battle you can't win, there will always be
