I can't really help you out regarding the skin creation, but I can help out with some usful icon creation tips Firstly, Creating good icons isn't easy but can be a lot of fun when you get the hang of it. It requires a lot of practice and time to get your own personal method and style. I use Microangelo http://www.impactsoft.com/ for the majority of my work, and then sometimes Icon
After a while of browsing around the site and messageboards, it's now a lot faster for sure... I'd say threads load in about half the time on average compared to the old version. Great job coders
Yepp, the messageboard is slightly faster... nothing insane, but definitely welcome, thanks guy
Thanks for the update Frogboy.
If it's not too much trouble, Could anyone shed some official light on my questions please? Frogboy maybe? ... thanks.
What's the latest news on them? What sections there be? I know Icons will be one of them, but did you guys manage to get Nullsoft to sponsor WA3 as well? ... and any idea on when it will be exactly (early, mid, late summer)? ... just curious
lol, clash of the titans... I would love to see an all out slagging match between Frogboy, Shoggot, Miriku, Jark, Jier, Chaz and Gorman. Shoggot, Miriku and Jier often come across as the bad boys of the community. - Anti-corporate, freeware lovin', rebel warriors of the people... men on a mission. On the other hand you have Frogboy, Jark, Chaz and Gorman - the noble mediator fighters for freedom, fairness and global harmony & balance. Damn, I talk shit sometim
SkinStation or maybe SkinExplorer?
I've got your back BoXXi... GO GO GO!
http://www.virtualplastic.net/html/col_mac1.html is a good place to start looking for info... And so are the neowin.net forums at: http://www.neowin.net/bboard/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=42
http://hoverdesk.deviantart.com is probably one of the best places to ask...
a wicked set of icons...
damn... I knew it! No logo for you sunny
I've had several interesting emails from various 'kids' asking for one thing or another... I even had this email from a Counter-Strike Clan member who said I had to " Make him a new CS logo for his clan within 12 hours or he would stop visiting my site daily ". Where the hell do these people come from?
http://www.3dlinks.com/tutorials_max.cfm is not a bad place to start lookin'
They are normally just above your name at the top there crae, but since your a 'higher' user than most you don't see 'em
Icons sound cool... although to create a full set you need around 80 to 100 icons in it, and good icons take time - so I would predict that you wouldn't get more than 20 to 30 entries overall in that section. But it could generate some funky new styles and sets of icons... sounds like fun, so I'd definitely be up for it. ;) Were you also planning on having sub-categories within the icon section? like best XP set (32bit), best standard set (24bit), best use of colour & sizes, best use of al

How about a little patience and a little respect? not much too ask is it?
Happy Birthday
Anyone that _can_ rate has to be 'fairly' respected to have gained that ability, and I am a little surprised that someone like that would rate so spitefully/poorly.
A whole new OS? Maximum respect my friend... I wouldn't even know where to start
Very unlikely... You could put the code for a virus in there, but the browser wouldn't execute it, only reference/read it. Although... thinking about it, a buffer overflow could *maybe* be used to overload a cookie variable and execute arbitrary code, but I imagine the cookie variables and functions are well tested and heavily validated. hmmm... it's just theory, doubt it's been done, or even if it's technically possible.
