Now I got a strange situation; The main map contains the planet Dester ´1 as there was a project completed, probably military. The righthand view shows the Epsilon system where I was about to colonize a system. Whereever I click the game responds as if I clicked the turn button (even the graphic there shifts as if I'd press it) I clicked around observing this behaviour... When I got the research completion screen and hit ESC to get rid of it, the turn

http://home.jacobsson.nu/galciv/na.jpg Look at the ship-info box. I played with the n/a ship and decomissioned it. Then the focus one the map switched (couldnt see any ship there so I decommisioned it too). I repeated this many times. the n/a-info was there all the time and I couldnt see any ship when the map changed to a new spot after decommisioning the n/a ships. The debug.err revealed: Debug Message: Destroying ship USS Colony Ship 2710. Orbiting: 0 Debug M

"When I clicked on USS Hero to bring it out of autopilot a colonyship in the same sector lost it's autopilot too. Strange. Another colonyship in the sector worked as it should. " This could be a coincidence. The ship had an anomaly next to it and the "bring out of autopilot"-routine was probably queued to the next thing to do after I clicked on that USS Hero. So it looked as those things happened on my click.

I have a "1st contact with new race"-message on my screen and I cant press the Done-button. THe button is there but it doesnt do anything. This message appeard the same time as I got to select which planet to colonize in a system. the "contact" message was ontop but I couldnt close it. So I went on with the colonization and even after that I couldnt close it. So I pressed the turn button to see if that got rid of the message but It didnt, instead the turn button got grayed out as before. <br

One system had the shild-symbol, so I went there. There was a colonyship in orbit even tho I hadnt recieved a message of it. So I deorbited it and put it to use. One or two turns after I got the message that it had completed a military project...

After moving ontop of a uninhabited system and then changing ones mind about colonizing it, the default name still appears even tho it's uncolonized. I managed to change my mind before the screens where one name it and the choose of which planet to colonize.

Hi, I just got home after a three days canoing trip and found a new version to download :) Ive just started a new game and saw this: As usual I play with autoturn off. When I colonize a planet, the ship moves ontop the system, the ship vanishes, the system gets it "default" name, and when pressing the turn button I get to choose which planet to colonize and name it and such. Not very good. The text-scrollig of the new advisor on the planet screen doesnt work.

Uhh a little clarification, Cari - it may be that it happens when it's on autopilot but I abort it to move ontop of the anomoly manually. Im not on autopilot when the ship moves ontop of the anomoly. Anyway - it's a strange behaviour that should be corrected IMO. And yeah, it's probably because of the difference in movement with autoturn on/off.

I play with autoturn off. When I get to an anomaly, and move to it manually, I often get ontop of the anomaly one turn and get the goodies the next turn. Unless it's a ship, then I get the ship when I get ontop of the anomaly. The message that I got a ship displays next turn tho.

A system I invaded had a transport in orbit. It's still there. I can doubleclick on it to bring it out of orbit and get to select how many troops that shall leave with it. When it comes out of orbit it has the Yor's colors and it's named YOR Transporter or something like that. Since it's a Yor ship when it leaves orbit, the AI controls it. It goes right back to the system automaticly but dont start an invasion as it should if it was truly an enemy transporter. Instead it just enters orbit.
