Tina, I have not uninstalled anything. I just dont use SDC anymore. I have been fortunate enough to have the time to read the threads and have not downloaded that version of IP, nor do I have the latest SDC. I have read too many complaints about them. After the last restore, I haven't used it. So far, so good. LYMSAG! DCB!

Someone with much more knowledge about this will probably come along, but It could be bad conversions. It takes more than just pushing the conversion button. Some things need to be re-configured and tweaked.

There have been quite a number of fairly extensive problems created with the newer builds of IP but it remains at SDC causing more and more problems with peoples computers, and not minor ones either I don't use it any more at all. The last 2 times I did, I lost all my icons on the task bar. The only t

I have seen some that had instructions to unzip Thanks Bichur, I use FF browser and it automatically downloads the skin into WB, so I never looked at the actual folder. I have looked now, there isn't a folder for walls in either Stardock or WB. I also looked at one of the blinds folders this happened

Sometimes it happens. You need to uncheck install wallpaper under basic settings in the wb program while using that paticular blind. You will then need to click apply settings. It just means the blind was programed to have a wall included, but they forgot to include the wall.(I think)! Just put up a wall of your choice. I have had the same thing happen to me with a couple skins. You can also let the author of the skin know so they can fix it.<img src="

The only thing you can do with XP is either have a color square or not have a color square around the letters. If you would like a color square around the letters right click on the desktop then arrange icons by, and check the Lock web items on desktop. Then go to control panel, then appearance and themes, then click display. Click on desktop and change the little color bar that is on the right side of the panel near the bottom to whatever color you wa

You might want to wait to get the latest IP. There have been many threads about all the problems with the latest version. There was a fix for it, but it did not help some of the people.

I'm convinced now to switch over to AVG, tho I'll most likely go with the professional version for the additional support. You won't be sorry. I have the pro version. I have yet to need any support though. You will also get 2 years free udates as opposed to Nortons 1. You have endless free updates wit

Try uninstalling and then reinstall it. You can save any themes you have in another folder so you don't lose them. Then just put them back when you have it reinstalled.

I use Get Smile and Smileycons. They both have to be purchased, but there is no spyware or adware. You get free updates and Smileycons have free add on smilies through out the year. I have been happily using them both for about a year now. Here are the links. http://www.sofrayt.com/getsmile/index.html http://smileycons.com/

And unlike Norton that allows you to get a virus and then try and deal with it, AVG will keep you from getting it in the first place.I have had AVG for years now with no problems and no virus infections!

I beleive this is strictly a IE6 problem or SP2, cos I have experienced this same thing on and off since I upgraded to SP2. I periodically have to go into file types and click on transfer, gopher and hyper text protocols under IE6 and reactivate them. It is the same thing on my husbands computer. Sometimes when I click on a link or something from within a program it will bring up my browser and go to the page, but at the same time a warning pops up say
