I have already done what you suggested. Is there a reset option besides unchecking the don't allow removed cookie site from resetting? I might have to do a restore, which I hate to do.

Well, I read so many threads about the virtues of the FireFox web browser, I decided to give it another try. I downloaded the cookiecruller plug in and made a mistake in using it. Now I am unable to log on to this site with it. I had deleted the cookies and then like a dummy checked do not let sites that have been deleted re-set another cookie. Duh! I have removed the cookie program, re- booted..nothing. I ha

Thats funny - after a fresh install of XP I have "MSN Explorer" in my start menu. Isn't that the MSN browser? It is probably version 7. I just downloaded version 7 for free, but it took alot to find it. I'm sorry I did not bookmark where I got it, but you still get version 7 for free. <img src="http://s

I wish I could say the same, SD. It is some better for me, but still slow at times, and still unable to get to some things at all. They will get it fixed for good and for all and then it will be the Greatest!

Thanks RedBuzzard. I have deleted them, and cleaned everything out, but still only have bmp format for save as. I checked my husbands computer out tonight and he has the options to save as a gif, jpg or bmp like I use to have on mine. Now I feel sure it must be a setting or something that got changed. But where that change is, I have no idea. I really thought up till then it was the last critical updates. Hopefully someone will know what could cause

Wow! You all are great. Thankyou Jafo, WowFactor, yrag, pictoratus, and Red Buzzard. Now that yrag mentioned the new updates, I believe that is what has done it. I looked in my downloaded files folder as Red Buzzard suggested, and there are no corrupt files. There are, however two files that are unknown. Also my anti virus scan indicates my shell32.dll is changed. It is not a bug or anything, just changed. Hmm. I hate it when stuff starts doing this ki

That will work great for a jpg file, but will it work with an animated gif. I still don't know why I use to have all the save as options, but don't anymore. It is a mystery! Thanks for the help.

I am very thankful for your help yrag, but I am not that familiar with system congigurations. I do not know how to do what you are talking about. I know how to get to the sytem config., but from there I have'nt got a clue.

Thank's WowFactor, but that did not do it either. I have something wrong I fear. A changed setting or something. I don't have any bugs or anything. I have run all my scans so, I am stumped and frustrated. The only thing about this I found on the MS web site related to a compression problem caused by AOL. I do not have AOL!
