I use iTunes, although I have used MusicMatch, Napster, and Rhapsody in the past. I also use Limewire if I can't find it on iTunes. Whatever you do, DON'T USE KAZAA! It can effectively nuke your system from the amount of spyware it installs on your system. Believe me. I know.

I would like to know how to remove a substyle that was accedentily created for one of my personal skins. I have one that I don't need and at the time I created it, I thought I would need it. Is there a way to remove that extra substyle without affecting the main skin itself?
Neil - I unloaded WB, so naturally it switched to classic, but it still crashed continuously. I wasn't using a beta build; I was using the WB 5 final.
When I updated to WB 5 and restarted my computer, Explorer.exe kept crashing every 2 minutes or when I try to do something that requires it, like a shutdown. I had no choice to but to do a System Restore and rollback to the beta. Would anybody happen to know what is going on? I'll continue using the beta until this is fixed, because that isn't causing me any problems at all. ~DragonKid
I'm with Tominated and DigitalCHET. I've had no problems whatsoever since upgrading, except for the transparency on titlebars, but that's because my videocard's too old. I don't think I'm ever going back to 4.6!
I just installed the lastest beta because I didn't want to go through the same hell everyone else did with the first one. I do it all the time. ^^ I have a nice and big desk with a lot of room leftover. I've been doing it ever since I got my ATI All-In-Wonder 7500 video card w/ tv tuner and also when I got my DVD±RW drive. I have a slide out keyboard so Idon't have to worry about crumbs in it. ~DragonKid ¬.¬
Thanks all for your help. My computer is back to normal now...at least I think so. This problem did help something on my comp though. Before this happened, my System Restore flat out refused to work, but after the problem was fixed, Restore works now. -_^ If only I could figure out how..........
I did press 'ok' until it brought it up, but now I have another problem. I get the foolowing message now: "The instruction at "0x027a116e" referenced memory at "0xec50ffff". The memory could not be "read"." At the top of the error message it says "MCI command handling window: winlogon.exe - Application Error". Now what do I do???
I've already restarted in safe mode. It still comes up. Archangel, I can't get into my computer period. The farthest I get is that error message. I'm typing this on a seperate computer.
I'm having a problem with LogonStudio on startup and I was wondering if anyone would help me out. I applied a skin I made myself, just to see how it would look, and now my computer won't let me logon! It keeps coming up with the following error: "Parse error ';' at line 173." I have tried restarting my comp in every possible way and I can't get rid of it! Worst of all, I can't logon to fix the problem! :-|| I would appreciate the help!
I'm also having that same kind of problem. I've been an active Object Desktop supporter and I was at Level 4 and now I'm Level 2. My subscription doesn't expire until Feb. 2005 and I plan to continue using it. I would like to know what's going on!

When I try to use a widget for DX, I always get a message telling me that DesktopX is not installed on my machine. I have DesktopX 2.1 (full version) and they [the widgets] won't detect the dang program. Someone please help me!

I figured it out. All I had to do was clear my cookies and try it again. After I click refresh, WC loaded correctly (course I had to login again )
When I try to connect to Wincustomize on my personal computer, my browser says "Web site found, waiting for reply..." and then cuts off. All I end up seeing is a 404 error. Is this a problem on WC, or is something wrong with my computer/internet connetion? Please help me! Anybody!
