Whenever I update WB first I change to the default windows theme. Then I uninstall WB which means a reboot. Then I install the update and reboot. It hasn't failed me yet. I don't see any of the issues reported. All is well and Firefox is skinned again!

I assume nothing. Did you take the steps necessary to apply Curtains? If you are using Windowblinds first you have to apply the the Default Microsoft theme. Then run Curtains. Did you do that?
