Spending as much time here as I do and seeing how things have gone down lately I feel as if my opinions here are valid. Night Train: I can't say that I blame you. At least you have the courage to back up your convictions and good ones they are indeed. I'm sure that you'll be around somewhere on the "Internets" it just won't be here. As in most "communities" the "majority" mentality rules. There are times when a clique/in crowd seem to be in control so if a person voices opinions contrary to w

I don't like them in themes. Even the Gef themes. In Winstep you can easily turn them off. I think the Windows sounds are enough as it is. I'm still on XP so for the DX themes I just delete the sounds in Builder mode and then resave the theme. Works. The sounds are too much in my opinion. Give away of the day is a great site. I go there just about every day. I've gotten some great stuff from there. About this one: It is a pretty good program but like with any of these sort of programs, and especially when it comes to the registry, proceed with the upmost caution. If you screw up the registry bad enough say good night. Backup Backup Backup. [e digicons][/e]

I backed up my IP's and went back to 3.2. I'm on xp, none of the Vista junk applies to this machine anyway. Ditto for x64. I feel that this 4.2 "update" that's not really an update wasn't handled very well here on WC. It should have been made clear that this was not just an update. Also the playing around with Impulse just to get anything about IP to show was pretty lame. Even now there is nothing showing in the Impulse version I have about IP. The version of IP, 3.2, I'm now using is not there
i had the same problem -here is what i did -launch impulse -let it grab latest update -click the blue orb on the top left of impulse -allow it to show pre release´s -Go under preferences -click use beta version of impulse -APPLY restart impulse -grab the update -Now iconpackager will show up ^_~
Yeah, it worked but after it was done it said it was a 30 day trial! Then I looked in Impulse and by Icon packager it said Free. What the @#!?. I can't afford to buy it again right now
